Bought for my daughter's fiance. He wanted this game and really enjoys it.

My partner and I played it once and already saw through the flaws of the game's system. It's not balanced and you feel less in strategic control of the outcome than any other duel title that we've played and enjoyed. We can't recommend it. It needs significant improvement though the intriguing foundation of gameplay mechanics and systems are present.

My wife and I have been missing our weekly Cosmic Encounter games with friends, so I was stoked to hear about this 2 player version of the game. I think it plays great and really hits the feeling of the classic game (minus the deal making and alliances). It's asymmetrical, weird, and has great alien powers.

Original game is probably my favorite board game. This is a fun way to play a very similar game with one other friend, really great purchase

I feel like this is not a game. This has very limited options for a person wanting to play an actual game. You follow the prompts on the cards and decide to "Bid" your damage cards on whether to claim a planet... but stacking your ships on the planet doesn't do much. I feel like this is more of a sing along then a game. Read the lyrics and do what you are told at the right time.
