Instax Mini 11 vs 9
My daughter received the Instax Mini 11 for her birthday. Her sister has the Instax Mini 9 as well. Both cameras are very similar, but the 11 is easier to use. You no longer have to set the dial to the correct light mode- it’s supposed to do that automatically. The 11 also has a selfie mode, where you pull the lens out to get better selfie pictures. The 11 also comes with the strap and and two accessories to decorate the shutter button. That being said, I’ve found the quality of the pictures to be very similar. Some pictures come out great, while many others don’t. We haven’t been successful getting a good picture with the selfie mode yet on the 11. Both cameras take the same film. I wasn’t sure if the case from the 9 would fit the newer model but it does. I purchased a case advertised to fit the older model, but it fits the new camera as well. The accessory you can use to decorate the shutter button is useless. Although they provide a small piece of tape to secure it, ours came off within minutes and my daughter eventually gave up on it. Overall, this newer model is easier to use, but still very similar to the previous one.

Definitely worth it. I love my new Instax!
The "Ehs":- A bit bulkier than my Instax Mini 25 (Maybe even heavier?)- The peep hole STILL is just a HOLE. Gosh I hate this.- I was disappointed in the "diamond" button - I was expecting something much better. This is literally a squishy thing that's falls right off. I would never bring it somewhere because it would be lost in seconds. Without it there's a little hole and that's kinda dumb. (And yes, I tried with the sticker)Also...- I don't know that the selfie mirror is going to help much.- I don't notice a difference in picture quality yet.The good:- New colors! My favorite color was the main reason I upgraded.- Mirror for selfies- Design is more cute of the camera. Like the ON button, the back, the lens, etc.- Apparently the settings are auto now?! (I never changed them on my old one anyways though)Overall I am very happy and glad I upgraded! It is so pretty and fun to use!

Be very cautious about the shell!
The camera itself works pretty well, don’t have to choose which preset you want.. however, it’s as if you have to allow the camera plenty of time to configure itself before shooting in different lighting. And there is no alert when it is ready. I’ve had several wasted photos go over exposed because I took it too soon. The camera comes with these stickers and lil embellishments for the picture taking button. DO NOT PUT THESEON! I repeat-DO NOT PUT THE STICKERS AND EMBELLISHMENTS ON!! The sticker doesn’t stick well to the embellishment, and when it falls off your stuck with a sticky surface to a Matte item! Basically it won’t come off with rubbing alcohol, and my camera is completely stained from day one! Which it stains very very easily. I bought a clear cover case that took over a month to arrive to prevent any further discoloration. I was sooooo pumped and preordered this item and cannot explain how bummed I am that it already looks like trash. But it works!

No light meter
The camera is supposed to automatically adjust to different lighting needs. Mine only does well in the well lit indoors. Outdoors and subdued indoor lighting result in poor, washed out or too dark photos.

The worst item I ever purchased on Amazon
Don't waste your money. I would rate it a 0 if there was one. The picture quality is horrible. Focus is bad, flash is too bright, I went through 2 packs of film and every shot was overexposed and had a strange green tint, blurry, and off centered. A terrible camera and you will burn through a pile of film hoping you can get a good shot. Only good thing to say is that it is easy to load.

It’s okay......some issues...
Pros:- cute and fun- good size- VERY easy to use- film is literally the easiest thing to put in- love that it comes with batteries- nice color- comes with cute hand strapCons:- picture quality is okay but could be better- I was very disappointed with the diamond gem thingy(it does not stick; they even provided a sticky thing but did not work at all)- I don’t know how helpful the selfie thing is but it’s not helpful to me- I don’t know why I can’t use the mode before selfie mode but I’ll include pictures above (as you can see in the photo the red light comes up only when I do selfie mode and not regular mode..)- first picture does not come out..

so cute!
I love it! The color is so beautiful! I’ve never owned an Instax camera before so I can’t really compare it to the previous models. But so far I haven’t had any issues with it.

Worth buying!!
The camera is really good, picture quality is perfect..warmth is good..the picture I have put in review is clicked at night under tubelight. It is also very easy to use..and most important..worth the money..because when you have that hard copy of your photo it indeed looks like you have captured a memory. :)

The Price is Right
This little camera is so fun and easy to use. I do wish that the button also retracted the lens, I feel like constantly pushing it in manually will eventually break the lens or cause it to become loose. I also wish there was an option to turn off the flash, especially for outdoors.

Expensive camera rolls
I have been using it from last month and here is what I felt about this camera: the camera is simple to use and produces very good quality pictures. I ordered white color model which I think get dust particles easily and another cons I found is that the camera rools are quite expensive and costs almost a dollar per picture.
