These definitely help change out the gasket on front load washer. Even come in handy when the gasket falls off when clothes get wrapped around it and pull it off. Make sure to connect the water tube in first before installing gasket or it will leak under washer.

This product did what I needed it to do but only after fighting with it for a bit.The working ends need to be just a bit thinner as they do not fit the spring holes properly. Other than that they are decent. A half an hour job took two hours. As I had to get creative with the tool.

I'm sure it's great for some but definitely helpful not my Neptune Whirlpool. That spring requires 6 inches of stretch. This will not do it. Think that is why the high return rate since Whirlpool's are one of the most common washers.

This tool is a life saver! The spring fell off our LG washing machine a day before Christmas Eve. Wife and I spent about 2 hours trying to get it back on, after watching several YouTube videos. Very frustrating, just kept popping off. There was a link to this item in one of the videos so I ordered it, arrived the next day around noon. Took less than 10 seconds to get it back using this tool! I think it took longer to open the package it came in. I was a little weary about ordering it at first, since Amazon says it's a frequently returned item, I thought maybe that's because it doesn't work well. But it worked great for us, maybe people use it once and return it because they don't need it anymore. But for about ten dollars I'm definitely keeping it so I'll be ready if the spring falls off again or need a new one.
