I purchased this AC adapter because the pair of old Harman Kardon speakers that I have (serial number 01D430, the same as in the product name) had its AC adapter lost years ago, so I figured I might as well get a replacement. When I tried to plug this into the speakers, the plug didn't fit as it was too large. That's because the plug diameter of this adapter is 5.5 mm, which is standard for a good percentage of cases, but much larger than the diameter of an authentic AC adapter for these speakers, which is 3.5 mm. This adapter's current is also rated for 1A, instead of 1.1A as described. This doesn't matter much, but I felt the need to mention the inaccuracy in the title.I've attached two pictures for reference. The first one has this replacement AC adapter on the left, and an authentic Harman Kardon AC adapter on the right, the one with the green tag. The second one compares the plug sizes, with the authentic plug on the left, and the replacement on the right. Notice the difference in plug size. This demonstrates why this shouldn't be a replacement for an authentic plug.I've decided to refund this item, since I already got my hands on the authentic one, and I do not own any other devices that take AC power with the adapter's specs. If you're planning to purchase one for the same model of speakers, you're better off getting the authentic adapter instead, since it was made for the speakers in the first place (and the plug actually fits).
