Heals You
This brand and way they make this brace or other braces are the best. These are not not j compression fittings. They have a aluminum covered bar to go up your arm and into your wrist and stabilize it with a rubber on the back side. I had one for the right side and now have the left side. It’s made well and you don’t have to tighten hard as the bar and brace keep your wrist stable. Your fingers or thumb are flexible to use as they have nothing to do with your wrist. This way you can use all your fingers to grab stuff as the bar does it’s job molded into your palm. The Correct size will fit you and work and the straps are made for any size arm and can be shortened but you can’t go shorter than the Velcro’s companion or you will have to buy a new brace. I broke my wrist and the straps and bar bent my sideway hand 5 inches to get it straight and after days I loosened the straps. Now the straps are loosened and I can wear them day and night until I heal. I do take them off just to watch TV and let my hand and brace air out. These are breathable, comfortable and work. My wife has two for carpal tunnel and she loves them. You need to buy the Correct size for the palm bars. These do stabilize your wrist without tight straps and you can work all your fingers. If you are not a health professional seek a Dr. but these are the best and the price is unbelievable for getting rid of pain in comfort. I am a health professional but not a Dr or work with sprains or bones, but these are great.

supportive and comfortable
I have very bad tendonitis, and after the heavy snow fall we had a few weeks ago, I was left with my right arm (my dominant arm) in serious pain and agony (from snow clearing walkways and trampoline). the roads were cleared with plows but the car was still stuck in the driveway unable to get out and stores were all closed for employee safety, but some mail services were up and running, thank goodness for amazon prime. my husband ordered me this wrist brace with one click of a button on my amazon app, and it was here in just 2 days. the wrist brace felt so amazing on my arm, and didnt limit my mobility as much a others have in the past. my only complaint is that the straps were so gosh darn long we had no choice but to cut them. Of course that's also kind of genius too, since not everyone has the same wrist size and shape, being able to cut your own band size insures that it will fit you properly, so my complaint is void. this brace saved me a lot of pain and after having it on all day for two days and only giving myself a break at bed time, it was feeling better and almot back to itself by day 3. this brace is great sturdy quality and exactly what I needed. also cost less than what I had paid for lesser quality ones in the past, so that was a great added bonus. the cushioning on the inside also felt great, much like my arm was resting on a pillow. highly recommended to anyone looking for that good supportive and comfortable wrist brace.

Great wrist braces for carpal tunnel's
These are great wrist braces. A little expensive, but they work well. The straps are a bit long but that makes them easier to adjust in my opinion, and if you really wanted to you could clip off the extra length. The only reason they get four stars is that I think they run a bit small. I usually run between a XS and a S (I ordered a S based on the sizing chart), and I could've probably gone up to a M (which I never do in other brands).

Helps with Numbness
This works great to wear at night while I'm sleeping to help my hands not go numb. It's greatly reduced the amount of times I wake up due to achiness & tingling in my hands.

Great for a Reoccurring Hairline Fracture
11 years ago, I slightly factured my wrist during a soccer game. I had a splint for a while, but ended up losing it since my wrist healed, or so I thought. Ever since, I injure my wrist all the time, and the sharp pain comes flooding back. I finally decided to get a stabilizer for it, and this one does the job.Once I got used to this after about an hour, it became really comfortable to wear. It has (3?) metal and/or plastic bars to hold it in place, but they are surrounded by a layer of cushioning, so it isn't uncomfortable. It has great support considering how light it is. I can do the activities I normally do, like drive, type, play video games (keyboard+mouse or controller), do dishes, etc, I even took a nap in it lol. All the while it keeps my wrist from bending in the uncomfortable position.I see a lot of complaints about how long the straps are, but you can just fit them to size and then trim them. :)Note: My wrists are exactly 6", and I have very small hands, so I feel like the part that goes over my hand has some wiggle room with the size small, but buying the smaller size to compare sounds like a pain.Edit: After using this a couple of days, I really wish I had purchased the XS instead. The XS size is meant for up to size 5.5" wrists, but even though my wrist is 6", I have to pull the size S as tightly as it can go, and there's still some slight wiggle room. I feel like if I had sized down, I could adjust the straps to allow it to fit better.Edit #2: After about 2 weeks of wearing this a lot, some of the fabric must have warped/stretched, making me have to close the brace as tightly as possible in order to get the support I need. I ended up giving in and getting the smallest size to try. I will test it out and report back in a week with the results. For now, I'm dropping this to 3 stars, because I'm under the impression that the fabric might stretch out easily? Hopefully I have better luck with the XS!
