not as advertised
Pro"s: The board is well arranged. The boot from scratch (new APU, new ram, and new solid state hard drive) was seamless. Installed Windows 7 perfectly, This was an unbelievably glitch free install and there have been to problems whatsoever. So, why the three stars?Con's: 1866 ram is installed, but is only running at 1600. A bios update has been promised to fix this problem. The advertised spec's clearly states dual DDR3 1866 supported. This is on the box, also. I bought this board for the 1866. The last ram update was 4/10/2011. Tech support will not even speculate as to when the bios update will be ready, if ever. I will be returning this board since it is not as advertised.

Great Stable motherboard that has everything you need!
I have installed tons of hardware over the years, almost every brand of motherboards, Asus, Biostar, Abit, Tyan, ECS(crap), Gigabyte, MSI, etc. This board has been one of the easiest well layed out motherboards I have installed. Fired right up the first time and has been super stable. Has almost every header you need, USBs, USB 3.0, spdif, plenty of sata, even has a digital readout on the motherboard so you can diagnose the mother board codes and then displays the cpu temp. BIOS interface is easy to use also. Video and drivers installed without issues with the supplied driver cd. I definitely recommend this board.components I am currently using on this board.Win 7 64 bitAMD A8 3870 with stock heatsinkKingston Hyper X DDR3 1600 2x4GBAntec VP 450Corsair Force GT SSD 120GBWD Green 2TB 64MB cacheLG Blu-ray burnerSymba 1394 PCI express adapterAsus Wireless PCI express adapterMedialink Bluetooth 4.0 usb adapterRosewill internal 3.5 card readerBiostar aluminum 3.5 usb 3.0 front panelAntec Old school case

Biostar Motherboard
On board LAN does not appear. I am using a PCI GBE card rather than remove the board from my computer and be without my computer for weeks during the warranty procedure. Everything else is as advertised. The unit, other than the built in LAN, is operating fine. Easy to install and set up.

Caught on fire during first boot up...
Got this motherboard out of the box, installed everything onto it, put it in case, then on first boot it ran for about a minute then i smelled smoke so I turned off power supply and opened up the case and there were two little chips near the power connector that were glowing red and smoking and now the board wont function at all. Also, board came with no screws to install it with.
