KEJORA Fresh Fuyu Persimmons (5 LB)

DELICIOUS! Just the right amount of ripeness. Arrived in good condition and lasted for weeks.

These fruit arrived in excellent condition. Looked perfect and tasted delicious. Better than buying in a store. We highly recommend these, and are ordering some more as gifts for our friends.

The fruit was in bad shape many were badly bruised and had sunken soft spots that indicated rot. Several were actually moldy and one has got so bad it leaked fluid in the box. I love Fuyu persimmons but these were not in good shape at all as you can see from the picture which was taken 15 minutes after they arrived. I received a refund for half the box.

I ordered 2 of the 4-5 lb case. They arrived in great shape. There was no bruising and I received about 38 nice size persimmons. I've eaten about 5 of them so far and the taste is good. My only complaint is that it took 2 1/2 weeks to receive them. THAT IS A LONG TIME. I ordered from another persimmon company on Amazon and both times the orders arrived within 3-4 days.UPDATEI ordered 2 of the 5lb again. I AM NOT PLEASED with this order. They are too ripe and some are brused. I'm going to have to try and eat them quickly before they go bad. I'm not sure now if I will ever order from them again.

I was impressed and surprised at how fast the order arrived. They were packed good and appeared to be in good shape. I have never had these before, so was unsure how to store or how to tell if they were ready to eat. I let sit by window for a few days, then noticed some spots turning darker so i tried one. It was very good. This fruit is a bit pricey for my taste, but isn't readily available in my area, so would buy again from this store if when i do decide to.

I received my second order of persimmons today and they were not of the same quality as the ones I received 2 weeks earlier. The 1st shippen fruit was beautiful and for the whole box to ripen to my liking took 2 weeks, which were great. So, I ordered again.Today I received the second box of persimmons and was very disappointed. First think I noticed when I picked the box up was that the fruit was moving around inside the box. When I opened the box there was at least 2 inches of space that had no packing material. Next on the first layer there was a very busted and squashed fruit as well as on the bottom layer. I am sure the over ripe fruit was that way when it was packed for shipment since, like I said it takes weeks for a fruit to ripen to the point these were.I am including pictures for your comparison. The first delivery was rated as 5 however, the second box of persimmons is not being rated here as high. I have to give it a 3 considering the packaging (lack of) and the selection of fruit (over ripe to point of being a near liquid).

I wished I had a persimmon tree because I love this fruit. But when you don't have one, you do the next best thing and purchase the fruit. The market near me sells persimmon for $9.95 @ lb., so 5 lbs would've cost $50, but on Amazon, I was charged around $25 and the fruit arrived immediately and in beautiful condition. They were pretty tasty too. My problem is I can't eat just one. They are the perfect breakfast, snack, lunch, dessert and dinner. They really are so crunchy and not overly sweet! Like I said, they are the perfect fruit!!!
