Scale has a really nice feeling to it. doesn't have a cheap feel to it like those 20 dollar scales. the weighing plate is big which is a plus. my last scale had a tiny weighing plate where u had to put a plate over it and that wasnt very stable. This comes with a plate also for measuring powder. only problem with the plate i had was that the chemicals i used kind of stick to the plate so you'll lose some mgs and also when trying to pour the powder into a bottle; since it doesnt have a an opening on the end of the sprout, when you try to dump it in it kinda falls all over the place even if you're careful so i recommend useing a piece of paper that wont stick to the chemicals instead of the plate thats given. Also another problem was that the scales balance is uneven. it has 4 stands on each side of the bottom and one of them is slightly uneven so when i touch it it tilts which i worry will affect the weighing and calibration. As for the accuracy of the scale, after calibration the scale is about 2mg off per 20g. thats the most accurate i can get it and i know its important to some people where you need the exact mg. i recommend putting a non stick paper on top of the scale and without taring add the weight of powder you need and minus the weight of the paper to get a more accurate reading. I give this 4 stars because the scale is not properly even when you put it on a surface. maybe it was just mine. i have to put something under one of the stands that hold it up to keep it even. if i could i would give it 3.5 stars because having the scale totally flat on an even surface is really important. if not for that i would give this scale a 5 star.

While showing a bright and easily ready readout, the scale is very light weight and easily moved. The pan is thick and small and.the scale does not respond in the specified 0.02 grain increments, but in a rather odd 0.03gr increments, and that takes more than 6 to 10 seconds.It is just an "ok" product, but for ten dollars more, I should have bought the better scale.

When adding very small quantities of powder the first time I used it, after calibration, the scale did not register the first couple 0.01 grams. With such small increments there might be environmental factors such as vibration or draft, but it's noteworthy. While I don't 100% trust its accuracy, the scale is generally great quality.When I tare one of my weigh boats it will recognize that weigh boat as 0. The scale is sensitive enough that it really does need the lid closed for accurate measurements.

Smaller than I expected but okay for the price. Accuracy seems to be good. Haven't used it yet enough to rate.

Very good scale

Shuts off after a single minute of inactivity. Clearly the manufacturer feels that the batteries used to power this device are worth far more than whatever it is you're trying to measure. Despite this misguided attempt at saving milliwatt-seconds of energy for the good of mankind, I waste more time and energy redoing my measurements when the device unexpectedly shuts off than I would if this "feature" was not present. Please redo with a ten minute shutoff timer. Better yet, I'll shut it off myself when I'm good and ready...

Very accurate scale. I've owned it for 6 months now and it still works great. I love it, It's a very nice scale.

The scale is acurate and well made. I use it to weight small quatity of safran and it does the work.

Accuracy more than sufficient for my purpose, comes in a well-designed and reusable protective package, delivered less than 60 hours after ordering, and the price-point is excellent for a tool I need.Overall, a great purchase worth every penny paid.

Use it to verify powder load in the shells. They are more than accurate to perform my task. The accuracy is +-0.1grain. To make measurements more accurate, press the plate to get over weight error and release. Take average of value before and after pressing.

this scale works decent for what it is. You wont find a cheaper cost for an item that measures into .1 grain accuracy which is just fine for reloading ammunition. Nice to have independant levelling legs on the bottom which work. Hopefully the metal is not the worst chineezium but so far, so good.
