Sleek MakeUp Vitality Foundation, 30 ml, Number 10

I’ve been using sleek foundation for a while now . Didn’t expected to be so good for the price I’ve paid . It doesn’t have a mask / cover that makes your skin look like your wearing tones of foundation , is more light and natural . It doesn’t dry your skin or stay 24 hours like sealed mask as you see in those make up tutorials but If you like a more natural look and and easy , light make up , you’ll love this product . You can try it in boots chemist to find your colour before you order . Between my old Estée Lauder double wear stay in place non transferable foundation and sleek ill definitely choose sleek .

I usually use expensive products but keep coming back to this one - it's light, smooths on easily, not too thick and cloggy... I love it.

Sleek Make-Up Vitality Foundation in Shade No 02Sleek is a brand that is new to me and they seem to manufacture nice, reasonably priced make-up.• This Foundation is presented in a no nonsense simple tube, with a clear band so that you can see the colour through it. The shade number is just above the band. The tube was tamper-proof sealed.• Printed on the rear of the tube is the long list of Ingredients and what this make-up does.• Unscrew the cap and the tube has a nice long slim nozzle. I found that the make came out much easier and cleaner than tubes that do not have this nozzle.• This Foundation is very slightly more liquid than other all-in-one Foundations that I have used. This is in no way detrimental, as I found it easier to smooth over my face, having applied moisturiser. I just use my fingertips; I have never got on well with sponges. I don’t have much colour naturally, and this Shade VF02 is just right and equalled out my skin tone, whilst not looking overly 'made up'. I am a great believer that in older years less is more, and I try to look natural.• I think it is more or less fragrance-free as I could not detect any scent.• My skin felt very comfortable and I had no adverse reaction to it.• The foundation looked good for many hours, giving a sort of slight sheen to my skin. It is a lightweight makeup that did not seem to accentuate lines or creases. I also found that not much was needed.Sleek cosmetics are not tested on animals, which is superb. There is also an extensive range of colours in this Vitality Foundation, so there is something to suit all skin tones.At time of writing this Review, the RRP is £8.99 and in my opinion, represents value for money.

It gives a dewier effect than I was expecting from what is advertised as ‘semi-matte’, but I like it.On the negative side, the tube design needs a rethink, IMO.I recommend having a tissue to hand as the nozzle & inside of the lid invariably need a wipe off before & after each use.📝 Although the current product description states ‘Not tested on animals’, there is nothing on the physical product I received to qualify this.ooOoo✿ SLEEK MakeUP✿ VITALITY FOUNDATION~ LIGHT to MEDIUM coverage/Oil Free/Semi-Matte Finish~ SIZE : 30 ml~ SHADE : VF02‘Produced in China’ooOooSealed on arrival, the foundation shade is visible through the transparent band just below the colour number.There is an amazing palette of no less than 24 shades to choose from, so one is likely to be a match if looking for light coverage from a water-based foundation.Other products from the brand, in the same colour span, currently include  Lifeproof Foundation  & Crème to Powder Foundation .This is a new brand to me and is simply presented in the more rounded tube I usually prefer as it is less likely to gather foundation around the top, in my experience. However, this one is long & pointed (1st image below refers) and as the liquid is on the thin side, it does collect in the lid, when new.With the detail in WHITE lettering, the matte BLACK plastic-type tube stands just short of 13 cm tall x around 3.5 cm maximum with fairly sharp corners, worth noting if digging around in a holdall.The cap is around 1.75 cm in diameter and the tube will obediently stand to attention, if required.A little goes a fair way and I find it relatively easy to apply. This is a lightweight foundation, id say it gives a light to medium coverage and would be suitable for people who just need their skin tone evened out.- light coverage- evens skin tone- nice thin nozzle for accurate dispensing- thinner than usual foundation, bit runny- tube doesnt look expensive (in my opinion)- good range of colours for all skin shades- Good for young healthy skin (ie not old birds with dodgy skin)- not very visible in useIf you are in the market for a lightweight foundation, if tinted moisturiser isnt quite enough but you have good skin then this is the stuff for you.

Although the colour and finish are good, the foundation is very runny and squirted out of the tube when the lid was removed without any pressure being applied. The liquid nature of the product does mean that it is easy to spread across the skin but I found a brush was needed to achieve the lighter coverage that I wanted. It is important to exfoliate before application as it settles onto any flakes of dry skin and accentuates the imperfection.I found it stayed in place for a day of wear even though the weather was hot but it is very difficult to control flow of product from the tube, so a lot goes to waste. I don't think I would use this again as a result.
