Works well if applied after heavy dew and/or rain
This product works very well. It is pet friendly and does keep the rabbits and deer away from my hostas. You do have to reapply after heavy dew and/or rain. My hostas were being eaten and we tried this……saved them from being decimated by a bumper crop of rabbits. I have had this hosta bed since 2006 and the rabbits never bothered them before….no idea why they suddenly started dining on them but this stopped it.

Spray very early before the bunnies get a taste!
The Rabbits are eating my Hosta's, especially the variegated ones. I have sprayed them well with the Rabbit spray and so far it is working, In the future ai will spray before the cute bunnies get their first taste.

Great product, sprayer could be better.
Works great for keeping deer away from plants. The sprayer however seems to clog or just stop spraying at times. If you switch back and forth between fine and wide spray it can work again after a while. Sometimes that doesn't help. I poured it into another empty weed sprayer and worked fine. That bottle was battery powered however. Great product but would be near perfect if the sprayer was better.

Junk! Sprayers don't work!
Like many, many other reviewers have experienced, the spray nozzles DO NOT WORK!I bought a two-pack of 1-gallon jugs of this stuff, and the sprayers are total junk. Neither one of them functioned after snapping the red connector into the top of the cap (removed sticker, flipped cap, set the spray stream on the sprayer). Now I have two gallons of liquid cabbage fart-smelling deer repellant, that have no functioning sprayer.DO NOT BUY THIS with its malfunctioning packaging.Update: I ended up, like others, just pouring this out of the jug around flowers and shrubs I wanted to protect. And, like others, I have noted that the smell is horrendous. Be sure to only put this stuff in an area that you will not be into. Forget weeding or planting in that area- you'll get this miasmic goo on your clothes, shoes, and gloves. Also, my yard now smells like a zoo. If there's a breeze out, my neighbors are going to think I've got a pig farm or monkey house over here. And on top of all this, the stuff doesn't work. Deer are still eating down the plants I treated.I feel like at $27 / gallon, this was an intelligence test, and I failed miserably.Save yourself the money and just take a dump in a gallon of cabbage soup, leave it in the sun for three days and use that instead of this. It'll smell better, and anything has to work better than this stuff.

Urine smell attracts coyotes and loose effectiveness near fall
This product works well for most of the year to deter wildlife. I've noticed the closer to winter, when animals begin to sense the need to fatten up, that they will disregard the smell and eat anyways. I make my own spray out of garlic, onions, castile soap, eggs, and cayenne pepper now, but this repellant works great in a pinch. The cost is high if you have a big garden. I used to use it exclusively and for many years which is how I know it stops working as well closer to fall.Another downside is that it attracts coyotes due to the smell being very similar to coyote urine. I have cats so this is was the actual reason I stopped using it entirely. Even though I live in the suburbs where we almost never get coyotes, I used to spot them a lot scoffing around my yard. I have not seen one since I stopped using it.While I find my solution works much better and is cheaper, it comes with it's own downsides. You have to be careful how much cayenne you use in your water solution because too much causes the oil to stick to the plant and burns them. Beans do not like garlic or onions so I just use cayenne dish soap and rotten eggs for them. In the end, the best rule of thumb is that you need to grow enough for both yourself and the wildlife because you will lose some regardless of how diligent you are. However, in my case, they don't usually take a second bite. Conclusions:If you don't have small pets, your garden isn't huge, and you can afford it, this stuff works great through the growing season up until around fall. Even then it still works but not as well.Attracts coyotesCan burn some plants. Beans mainly.
