Dog Harness Step-in Breathable Puppy Cat Dog Vest Harnesses for Small Medium Dogs Black

I love step-in harnesses with this style.Prior to purchasing this brand, I bought Voyager harnesses for years but the velcro wouldn't last long so I started looking for alternatives.I have purchased a handful of harnesses and leash sets like this style and hated every one. The quality wasn't great, the rope leashes were extremely thin BUT these Matilor's harnesses and leashesare everything you would want!The harness itself is well made, material is thick and durable, the velcro is insanely strong.The snap has a red button for locking into place. One day I couldn't figure out how come I couldn't open the snap then I realized it has a lock tab (push left/right to lock/unlock). I don't use it but it's a nice added feature.I love the variety of prints and color choices along with sizes to fit almost every size dog.The leash rope is strong and durable. I will never use any other style again. Compared to other leash ropes I've owned, the ropes thickness is perfect! It's not too thin or thick! The soft ergonomichandles with hooks.Cleaning: I will toss the harnesses and leash in the washing machine every couple of weeks and they wash beautifully. I'll spray them with Dawn before washing.Overall I couldn't be more satisfied with the product and purchase!Matilor Customer Service is exceptional! They truly care about customer satisfaction and selling quality products!Easy to put on and take off in seconds(I leave the leash attached to the harness)My 86 year old grandparents watched my fur-babies and the harness was very easy for them to put on and take off; my neighbors 7 year old babysat my girls while I was away, and he was also able to put these on and take off by himself with no issues!True to size! I have a 15lb Maltipoo & Havapoo and ordered a Med. Depending on the length of your dog's hair - you have to take that into consideration when sizing. In the winter, I'll let my girls hair grow out and the harnesses are a little more snug vs when they have a short summer cut. My 2 dogs are about 20lbs and they wear XL .They looked so cute in those .The handles were sturdy and comfortable on your hands .

This leash and harness is adorable. It was bigger than expected after measuring my puppy. He managed to get out of it very easily so it was useless at first. He’s grown now and fits it perfectly so I’m still satisfied with my purchase.

Wow- I really love this harness and leash set so much I have it in THREE SIZES! The material on the harness is breathable but quality- not cheap or thin. It is also so easy to get on and off- I absolutely love it. I have never put any dog in a harness before, but I'm ready to take our new rat terrier/Jack Russell/?? mix breed rescue puppy out to practice walking on a leash. I struggled with the size to order and ordered in SMALL but quickly sized out of it and bought it in MEDIUM. It's hard to deccide on size because as some reviewers indicated, in my opinion it did run slightly small (and yes, for every person that said it ran small another said true to size or large). Daisy's measurements at 10 weeks old- exactly 8 pounds, her neck measured almost 9 inches, and chest is about 14 inches. The medium harness technically fit but was too roomy- the velcro helped tighten but wasn't able to get a decently snug-ish fit to take her on a walk. I also think the dog breed makes a difference- she'll stay small (well, MAYBE) but she's a little tall-ish, thin, and muscular- not built like a bulldog or another breed that may fill out the medium size a little better even though the two dogs weigh the same. HA- UPDATE- now at 5 months old Daisy is 19 pounds with a 12 inch neck- I ordered the X-TRA large (this time in red though- CUTE). She exploded out of her MEDIUM size pretty fast. Good grief I sure hope we've maxed out and that she doesn't outgrow THIS SIZE. I'm saving the smaller sizes back in case we get another little dog eventually- I'm already thinking about it! Incidentally, the leash measures at exactly 60 inches (5 feet) long including the handle and clip, just as advertised. I like that it's a bit thick, but nothing heavy or crazy. This is a great dog walking set and awesome quality- or I would never have bought THREE! I just think it's easier on the dog and the walker to use a harness- it's more comfortable and secure which makes my dog behave better when walking on our trails. Anyway, hope the info on sizes helps someone out there!

This harness/leash pair that I ordered is true to its color, and well made; however, even the small size harness looked clunky on my 12 lb Chihuahua. The leash looked beautiful in the photo; but it is too wide for my taste. This set probably would be perfect for a sturdier and chunkier dog, but it overwhelmed my pup even though the size was a perfect fit.

I did not order this for the leash. It is short, but we use as a back up. The vests are very cute on my girls. Seem to be comfortable and have held up well even with washing in the machine. My girls are fairly small so I can't speak to a big dog. But for dogs on the smaller size these work great.

It is so perfect fit and incredibly built with best quality. All I need to do is to measure my pet and the size was so perfectly fit.

This harness is a very easy well fitting harness. I have had 3 different sizes as my dog has grown. I passed on the 2 that no longer fit to my friends with dogs and they are equally pleased.I highly recommend this product.

Good quality for price. Very sturdy fabric and flexible for comfort. It has a velcro closure plus snap buckle. My pup seems to enjoy this, it's easy to put on.

It was just what I wanted but was too small so I am returning it and getting a bigger size. I had no idea how big or small it would be. Look forward to the new one though.

One thing I struggle with when buying leashes is finding one with the clip small enough that it doesn’t weigh down my little dogs. This leash seems to be consistent with the size ordered. The leash is nice, a perfect length, and - has a small clip. The harness is perfect and one of my favorite styles for my Lhateses (Maltese/Lhasa Apso mix).
