In our house we love painting rocks and hiding them for others to find in the community. We would rate this set a 9 out of 10. It is ideal for the younger crowd or the individual that is wanting to get into rock painting. This set literally has everything you will need and then some. The price point is amazing and let's you decide if investing in other acrylic paints is something you want to do (that cost adds up quick). It comes with a couple of paint brushes, which again is great for beginners...or if you are patient enough to wait for dry time. It doesn't have enough paint to complete the entire project, it comes with BEAUTIFUL river rocks and wood....but enough to complete a couple.Pros: all in one set, this is awesome to getting going and seeing if you have an interest in Rock painting and or art. Price point is phenomenalCons: not enough paint or brushes when thinking about making detailed art on the rocks, but thats ok because one you start the art you will dive in and be able to purchase additional.

Super fun Rock Painting Kit that will provide your young craft maker with hours of self generated entertainment. Great for aspiring artists who have a great imagination. The good: (1) great examples to mimic, (2) easy start up, and (3) nice art work to share with family for there office or art walls/shelved. The bad: (1) could’ve had a display case or prop to hold finished rocks, (2) paint quality just okay, and (3) could've used a design stencil to paint more defined art from.Overall, great kit for new or seasoned artists and/or craft masters to share creativity with friends and family!

Quality product. 7 year old Granddaughter loved creating with grandma. We used our own acrylic paints. The paints in the kit were a lower quality but will be okay. We do a lot of our own painting and preferred to use our own paints. Rocks were high quality. Follow the directions and wash them first.

Great product. I had a lot of fun painting these with my children. My only complaints are...that there should be some type of sealant or clear coat included. As it is if you put the finished product in your yard or garden the paint will run off if it rains or gets wet. Also, there could be a little more paint as well but only because to get the right affect some colors need like 5 or 6 coats to be as bright as it needs to be.

Great kit, My daughter always enjoys taking rocks in so I bought her this kit so she can paint rocks that are a good size and smooth. To my surprise the rocks are really a good size and all printable. I had bought another set from Walmart once and the rocks were way to small. So very happy that these were all a good size. Came with alot of paint color, 3 different size paint brushes, stickers, googly eyes, .a bag of rocks 2 wood slices. A palette to hold the paint colors. And a booklet with how too and ideas. It's an awesome kit for kids well worth the price.

Great family friendly activity. The colors are very bright and shiny. The only issue for the kids was opening the very tightly fitting cups. In general it's a messy activity, do it outside if possible or use a cover for the table. We didn't paint the wood blocks. Rocks are medium size, flat and grey- not white-.

I bought this kit as a birthday gift for my 7yr old granddaughter. I am very pleased. It is packaged in a sturdy box just as pictured, contains good quality items with good size rocks of varying sizes . I would purchase this again.

So glad I purchased this for our 2 girls. they love to paint. they painted rocks fo rthe garden and had a blast. we coated them in shalack and put them in our garden. Great gift idea and also for parties or kid craft.
