Another excellent Berenstain Bears book
This story and artwork is classic Berenstain Bears, and a great addition to any Berenstain Bears library. My 5 year old loves these stories, and they are enjoyable for her older brother as well. In this book, Brother Bear gets behind on his schoolwork after being home sick a few days. The problems pile up, and feels too overwhelmed to do anything about it. A visit to Gramps and Gran sets him back on the right path. Gramps does a great job of explaining why you need to be careful not to dig yourself in deeper when you are in trouble.

A story about spiraling down the wrong path
I have found the berenstain bear books to be super helpful in giving me new phrases to use with my kids and new ideas on how to problem solve those pesky issues all parents have in varying degrees. I keep reading them to do better and my kids keep choosing them for bed time stories so it is a win-win. I recommend these books for sure!

Can't go wrong with the Berenstain Bears
I've read the series, and now my daughter is in love with everything Berenstain! All of the stories resonate with her and she loves to re-read them. When you find an author or storyline that a child loves, you just have to get all of the titles for them.

Great story!
Love this story. Could always really sympathize with Brother Bear when I was younger. Who hasn't tried to hide the truth as a child and been driven deeper and deeper into deception as a result. Love Grizzly Gramps' illustration with his wagon he ran into the mud. That is a parable that still sticks with me to this day!
