This is the cutest little sun hat and good quality. I never measured my child’s head for size, but she’s very tall for her age at 18 months old, so I got the 2T-4T size. Always better to get larger when dealing with fast growing children. The size fits her well with room to grow. I can’t imagine a 4T wearing this though. It looks like it might be tight at that age.I like that this sun hat has a tie for under the chin to fit different size children. Our last sun hat had velcro that dangled uselessly under her chin and was easy to pull off. I have my daughter wear this hat at the pool to reduce sun glare and protect her scalp from sun burn. It’s done fine with pool water. I’ve already washed it once and it came out fine. I did hang dry it because I was worried to put it in the dryer.The only thing that appears to not work, is around the head part of the hat is a pull string so you can tighten the hat to fit your child’s head. But the push button to lock the string in place is too weak to actually hold it, so it just lets back out. I still gave five stars because you don’t really need that. As long as you use the chin tie the hat still fits fine.

Love this hat! it is perfect to protect my toddler's face and neck from the sun. It is a bit big but you can adjust the hat and it fits just fine. I order size 2t-4t for my 17months old. Hat is easy to fold and great quality. It is also beautiful and easy to wash.

Great hat. Adjusts to fit very well. Provides great sun protection. My 15mo old tolerates it well so I assume it's comfortable also. Machine washes well in cold water and air dried. I have not used it in the pool yet so I can't speak to how "floppy" it may or may not be while wet. However it is very soft and pliable while dry, which I like.

I REALLY wanted to keep this hat for my daughter...the pattern is SO CUTE!!! But at 3 years old with a 99th percentile head, the 2-4yr size just wasn't big enough. It was as if the bowl shaped part of the hat wasn't deep enough. I was surprised because my experience with the 9-18m size hat was that it ran big. If your kid's head is on the small size then these hats are great. The brim is nice and wide enough to keep the sun out of their face and off of their neck!

Color is as described, fit is good and looks adorable on ....purchased a different one for her brother.

I bought these two years ago in a smaller size and ordered these in the larger size now because my twin granddaughters have outgrown the others. Our family has a history with skin cancer so the girls wear these on the beach and whenever they are out in the sun playing. They offer good sun protection and the tie keeps them from blowing away in the wind. We had them monogrammed, and they look really cute on the girls. I plan to order another set for them in a second color.

This sun hat provides excellent sun coverage. I ordered this hat in a little larger size for my child because there is an adjustment cord above the brim that allows you to cinch it and make it a bit more snug. Hopefully we can get a few more months use out of it! I also like that there is a tie to tie around the chin, thus keeping the hat on my child while she plays. The large brim of the hat offers excellent sun coverage for my little one's entire face and neck area. Plus it's a great color!
