Devacurl No-Poo Decadence Milk Cleanser, 32oz

I recently learned from my hair stylist that Amazon sellers are not certified to be selling salon products. After learning this, I realized that the product I purchased must have been a fake! It smelled a bit different and I have been struggling with white flakes in my 3b hair, but mainly on my scalp for a while. I was itchy and my scalp was dry. I thought for the longest time that something was wrong with my scalp, but it was the product. I have been purchasing from Amazon for a while and never thought about the validity of what I was buying. Since I purchased the same shampoo from the salon I go to (who is certified), my scalp has significantly improved. Much, much less flakes and itching! (I do live in a dry, hot climate, so some itching from sweating isn't abnormal). Though it is more expensive than what you can get from Amazon, at least you will know that what you are getting is real! Please save yourself the time and money and just purchase the real thing from an actual salon! Your curls and scalp will thank you!

I love this stuff! I've been using Deva Curl for almost 2 years now and I have not loved a shampoo as much as I love this one. If you're thinking of trying out Deva Curl, or if you haven't used Decadence yet, give it a try. This stuff is heaven! I've heard stories about people getting watered down bottles (and this actually happened to me with conditioner once - different seller) but I am completely pleased with this purchase. If the price is scaring you off, one of the large bottles lasts me over 6 months because I only need to use it once or twice a week. I have very thick and long hair that is, or rather was, very prone to getting greasy. Now that I'm using this product line it takes days for my hair to start looking and feeling like it needs a wash, After a few weeks of using Deva Curl I can honestly say that my hair has never been happier!

When a friend first recommended this and I started using it, I figured I'd blown money on yet another beauty product that would end up in the back of my closet. I'm so glad I gave it a week. It's just weird at first because of not lathering up, but oh boy, it is worth getting past the fact that you're used to that. My hair, always dry, has never looked better. Ever. This is now my second bottle of this size, and the first lasted 9 months (I do have shorter hair). I'll never stop using this, and every friend to whom I've recommended it now feels the same. Curls or just dry hair--try this and give yourself a week to get used to the different feel of it. As an added bonus, you won't need to condition anymore (no really). The smell is very neutral. Personally, I'd prefer a stronger, nice scent, but that's a minor quibble.

Smells so much better than the original. This is the third devcurl shampoo we’ve tried. I’m trying all of them before deciding which is best for not only my hair but teen daughter. None of them has caused ANY hair loss!!! My hair is so much softer now. It was extremely dry and damaged. My scalp would get very itchy from dryness that is completely gone. And frizz is way better!On a side note I’m going to try to remember not to order during the summer. Product is is wrapped in air tight plastic but it got so hot the plastic expanded and the pump lid came a little unscrewed which caused a little to leak out. Not sellers fault

Last year I began on the Devacurl kick! I got the devacut and was gifted a bunch of leave in and no poo. I did like how my hair felt and smoothed during wash day...but there were things I was over looking and thinking it was me. I have had a terribly itchy scalp despite frequent black castor oil scalp applications..I figured it was something else I was using. My edges began looking thin and I again assumed it was my edge control. No. I came across the many youtube videos describing others experiences and the companies lack of explanation or help. I WENT HOME AND THREW OUT MY NO POO IMMEDIATELY! I hopped in the shower, used a clarifying shampoo, my old conditioner (that I was told was too heavy for my hair at the devacurl hair salon) and my scalp magically is feeling much better.....a few itches here and there but not constant. No improvement on my edges yet, I am working on changing my entire wash day routine. DONT DO IT!

So far, this is my favorite cowash ever. When I use regular conditioners to co-wash, my scalp never really seems to get clean, but not with this. It is a dedicated co-wash and not a conditioner used to wash hair (I believe there's a difference). I think it's because it contains cocamidopropyl betaine as an ingredient, which is a cleansing agent. So, it's like a lovely conditioner-shampoo hybrid without the drying effects of shampoo and sulfates.I don't usually like to spend a lot of money on something I'll quickly wash down the drain, but this is worth it to me. It starts my hair off on the right foot, which means I can be pretty sure my final styling results will be good. (If my hair wash is drying, it's almost certain that my final style is going to be frizz city).I'm a coarse-haired curly girl and it works great for me. The protein in it doesn't bother my hair, that I can tell. The scent is light, which I appreciate. And I bought it in 32oz because my hair is so thick, it eats 8oz products as appetizers.

I have used this product for 6 years. No change to diet or medicine and I have had significant hair loss recently. After learning about the lawsuit I stopped using for a week and I am back to “normal” hair loss. I cannot believe that this was being sold knowing that it causes such significant hair loss!!!

No lather and a great hair cleaning product. I am extremely happy with this product. I dont use any conditioner with it even though one is available for purchase. I dont see the point since my hair comes out so soft and tangle free. I have long hair so that's impressive. My only con on this product is the price. It is high, but you get what you pay for and in this product you get a great cleaner without the need of a conditioner. Safe to use on dyed hair which was important to me.

Love this product soooo much!! its the best cleanser I have tried to date, and I've tried quite a few!! The consistency is creamy and although there is no latter, it works really, really well at lifting dirt from my scalp. It also has enough slip where I can detangle my hair with it too!! I use it along with the One Condition and the Supercream coconut hair styler.

This is a great product and fantastic value for money however, like all bottles this big, the pump stops working once you get to the last few inches of product in the bottle. It’s not exactly like you can turn it upside without making a mess (if you’ve whacked ketchup from a glass bottle you’ll know what I mean)

I have been using this product for nearly 15 years, usually bought when visiting the US (so I obviously love the product). This is at least the 2nd time I have bought this product in the UK from this particular vendor and both times, it was badly packaged and had leaked by the time it arrived. It arrives taped and bagged, but in my opinion it needs tape around the sides of the dispenser not just 1 single tape on top. It is quite expensive so not only is it a mess to clean up once it arrives, but it is annoying that the bottle is not full (quite a bit of it having leaked out). I will be looking for another vendor next time I buy this in the UK.

This product should be recalled. After a few months of using, I noticed my hair start to thin and fall out!!! Worst experience. No change in my diet and this was the only product I had used on my hair. Wouldn't recommend for any hair type.

Prefect to use for the curly girl method. Tried cheaper ones that claimed to do the same job but just don’t compare. This works.
