This Danforth Red Tailed Hawk ornament is absolutely stunning! The detail is incredible – you can really see the individual feathers and the intense expression in the hawk's eyes. It's beautifully crafted and has a real sense of life and movement to it.The pewter has a lovely weight and sheen, and the touch of color on the tail feathers is a perfect accent. It looks so much nicer in person than in the photos! I also appreciate that it comes with room to use a satin ribbon for hanging, which adds a touch of elegance.My only minor quibble is that it's smaller than I expected. I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions, so that's on me. But it's still a gorgeous ornament that I'm proud to display on my Christmas tree.If you're a bird lover or appreciate fine craftsmanship, I highly recommend this ornament. It would also make a wonderful gift! Five stars!
