I am writing this review after 6+ hours of assembly so my opinion may change after the bike has been used a bit.I will start off with the positives, the bike looks great and is relatively straight forward to put together. The paintwork looks really nice and the bike comes with lots of useful features like the basket and pannier at the back.That said, there are some really problematic issues.1) THE BIGGEST ISSUE: The included manual (of around 50 pages) was totally useless as it provides generic instructions for assembly of two other types of bikes. Only the first page helped with anything and that was to attach the handlebars. An included A4 piece of paper had a a link on it which took me to a very old YouTube video explaining (with no sound) how to attach the basket and rear pannier. I would be very careful of buying this bike if you have no prior experience with assembling bikes.2) The front inner-tube was delivered partially deflated and when inflated literally exploded. It is extremely poor quality and I had to pay to have it replaced.3) The thumb switch for the attached bell looks was broken and I had to pay for a new one.4) There are small scratches, paint defects and glue all over the bike. These are not really noticeable unless you get close.5) The rear pannier doesn't line up when connecting it to the saddle stack. As such, the screws do not screw in properly.If you're looking for a Pendleton copy, this bike is for you. However, be warned that the assembly is extremely tedious and the quality of the parts may not be as good as you'd expect. Ensure you're equipped with a bunch of tools as the included ones are not fit for all purposes.I hope this helps someone out there.

I love this bike... Its perfect for my daily visits to my grandchildren who live a little over 3 miles away.. have ridden everyday so far... its amazing for the money.

A cracking bike for what you pay, it looks great and if you have the right tools it's easy to put together (they have a video above, and Youtube has planty of hints n tips)The only negative (minor) is....like all bikes in this style it is heavy (metal mudguards, pannier rack, basket all add weight)This bike is approx 17kg, the Halfords or Decathlon ones are a similar weight unless you start paying £230+.

Best to take to a bike shop to put together as we did wrong and instructions aren’t the bestSuper great value and just what I wanted- on amazing bike brown leather bag works perfect too.

The bike arrived severely damaged in the transit as the mudguard was bent and the handle bars were very damaged. It is very complicated to put together so I took it to a bike shop to have it assembled. The mechanics told me that the handlebars were so damaged by the journey that they would have snapped if I had attempted to ride it. I had the handlebars replaced and in total, the bike cost £80 to repair. Manufacturing seems fine but I was very disappointed with the condition it arrived in.

Happy customer.Able to assemble myself. Tools provided fine also needed screwdriver. Took two hours.Thing of beauty.Comfortable to ride.Would recommend.I'm a big gal 5ft 8 & about 12 stone and no sign of buckling under my weight!However for those really into bikes, this is my first and have nothing to compare it with!

Arrived with a flat, can't take the rear wheel off as it's been pre-assembled presumably with power tools. When I took the tyre off, it turned out the inner tube was 15-20cm bigger than the wheel. Doesn't seem to have a puncture, but can't inflate it enough to get it a snug fit or to ride it. Very disappointed

The bike arrived damaged; the front wheel and the front mud guard were both damaged and dented. The rest of the bike is fantastic and although a little fiddly to put together it looked great. Amazon gave me a discount because of the damage because the alternative was to disassemble the bike and return it... not a pleasant thought. I'd recommend this bike but I'd warn that you should buy it with enough time to return it if it's damaged and or source replacement parts if you don't want to return it.
