Great book!
I prescribed this for a course I taught this Fall and the students definitely were appreciative of the book. I thought it was a wonderful take on cultural heritage -- although many freshman in my course struggled with some chapters.

Great purchase
A Geography of Heritage was a great resource for a paper on heritage dynamics. The book helped me discuss the creation of heritage as a means to achieve community economic development for a once displaced community.

Review on A Geography of Heritage (Graham, Ashworth)
I ordered the book through Amazon, because my local book store told me it wasn't available anymore in the Netherlands. It got sent my way very fast, I received in only a couple of days. But the inside of the package dissapointed me somewhat. The front of the book had this standard MS Powerpoint-like texture, which wasn't mentioned on the website. The pages are very, very thin and the images look kind of blurry, because "this book was printed digitally and produced in a standard design so that Hodder Arnold can ensure its continuing availability". I appreciate the possibility of byuing the book at Amazon, but one should have mentioned on the website that it was a poor substitute for the original book. A little bit disapponted I must say. I hope my next purchase will be more to my liking.Best regards, mr Anne-Krijn Piersma, the Netherlands

Bad quality pictures
Concerning the appearance of the book:The publication concerns a digital reprint of the orginal. The words are printed very clear but the images are very blury and it is hard to distinguise different objects. The images are darker compared to the original paper back.

This book sucks!!1
I bought this book for my PhD thesis, so reading it I found some disturbing things such as "the Parthenon frieze (the Elgin Marbles) is a better protected and more accessible (and free) heritage experience in the British Museum in London than it would be on the Athenian Acropolis"..... SCUSE ME!!!!!!! I've been to Athens, the Parthenon Museum is wonderful and sadly there is a reconstruction of what England stole. NO SIR AUTHOR is not better in England and is not free or easy to access to the people out of England. So please, you are not writing for some UK professionals but for the rest of us. I'll not use this kind of colonialist ideas on my thesis.
