USB Replacement Repair Cable for Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 c930e C922 C922x pro

This cable brought my c922 back to life!!

My carnivorous cat trashed the cables on both my Logitech webcams. This cable is a perfect fit for a C920 camera and the strain relief is in exactly the right place. The cable will also work on a Logitech Pro 9000 with a minor bit of work on the strain relief. I used an Exacto knife to create a vertical cut on the old strain relief which allowed me to pop the old cable out of it. I then trimmed the lower part of the strain relief on the new cable so it would fit through the casing and fitted it so the new cable strain relief sat on top of the old strain relief. After snapping the strain relief in, the C-clip will hold it all together very nicely and there is room for both reliefs in the case. You will either have to use a solder iron on the ground wire to swap them out or if you are careful, you can pull the old wire out of the ground clamp, strip the end of the new wire, and crimp it onto the soldered in connector. Very, very happy that this saved me from having to buy new cameras and I got them fixed for a fraction of the cost. As a USB cable is pretty standard, I would suspect this cable could be adapted to other camera makers and models.

I was able to solder the ground straps in, and the cameras all worked fine. Its much more cost effective to do this than to replace the cameras, for certain.

When I originally ordered this I assumed it was going to be some Chinese knock off and probably not even work.Took about 10 minutes to repair and install with 0 issue and great fit. Can’t even tel it’s a replacement actually.Great for replacing hungry husky puppy snacks like mine lol

I thought I bought the right cable, but when I went to swap it out, the plastic seal where the cable passes through the camera differed. I modified it to fit and continued but the cable did not work with my camera. It caused the device to not be recognized when I plugged it in. I know this is my fault, because I now see that my model is not included in the list of compatible models in the listing. I just wanted to caution others to be sure you are ordering the right cable!I rated the cable 4-stars based upon the quality of the build. It seems good quality, but not excellent.
