What I needed to correct a cobbled up mess.
An HVAC installer used a 5' similar natural gas line when installing my unit about 18 months ago. Using another 12 inches of black iron pipe and adapters, when all that was needed was a 12" piece like this one. I got tired of looking at the eyesore and decided to replace it. This item is as good a quality item as the one I replaced, and worked perfect.

Fits perfectly
I couldn’t find this close to me and was told they could order it but it would take a week to ten days. I told them never mind I will order it from Amazon. I did and got it in two days. Thanks for the speedy service!

Wrong length
Description states 12" length. item only measures 10 1/2"

Surprised how easy it was to use
I have used black pipe in the past and it is a little bit of a pain to work with. This flexible pipe was real easy to bend and the fittings were high quality. If it lasts i will be a big promotor of this stuff.

Overfall looks good, got correct fittings. The yellow coating is scratched some
Some users complained they got the wrong fittings, but I got the correct ones. And the hose overall looks pretty good quality. But like someone else said, some of the yellow coating is scratched. Which I wouldn't normally care about, but in this case the epoxy coating is part of the protection for the pipe.It had no bag or packaging of its own, it was just thrown in the Amazon shipping box along with some other products I bought. Presumably how it got scratched. I think it will be good enough and I will keep it. But it should have had its own packaging and not be scratched.I bought a 30", which is not a super common length. I could have just gotten a 36" hose at my local store, but I would rather not have that much extra. So the 30" is good for my application.

30 inch hose is not 30 inches
Its a gas hose, it looks like a quality one but the 30" is not 30inches its 28 inches, for some that could be a problem for me it will be ok.

Works like a charm
No problem installing and no leaks. I used pipe dope on pipe thread and nothing on flare ends. Interesting shipping though. Simply thrown in an Amazon plastic envelope bare. Seems like it would have been prone to damage but mine came through fine.
