These pills are an excellent source of garlic. The pills are small and easy to swallow, and I don't notice any garlic odor or taste. As for health benefits, I think that these are one of the top supplements I have ever taken. I REALLY notice a difference in how I feel. I started taking garlic oil to prevent cysts and other similar infections as I had read that garlic is a natural anti-oxidant. I also had read that it was great to reduce the duration of a cold. I found that both of these are true. In the 2+ years that I was good about taking 3 of these pills daily, I found that it completely eliminated any breakouts on my face. I also noticed that I was not catching the colds and bugs that were going around. My sister is a schoolteacher and is trying these since the beginning of the school year. She has noticed she has not caught any colds from her students. I wholeheartedly recommend these garlic pills to anyone. They are supposed to be good for your heart health so pay attention to how it might affect any blood pressure or cholesterol medicine you may take. But my cholesterol has been super low as well!

There is some evidence that garlic is beneficial to circulatory health, and as garlic supplements go this is my favorite: the pills are tiny and they are genuinely odorless and don't cause me any gastric upset or aftereffects. I am fond of garlic for its potential health benefits but I also like these pills because they seem to make me more resistant to mosquito bites. Mosquitoes have traditionally treated me like a fine delicacy, feasting on me at every opportunity. I began taking this to see if I could dissuade them, and even though it's only my experience, I definitely believe I get fewer bites than I used to. My only negative comment would be the excessive and potentially deceptive bottle size: it may be done for commonality with other Nature's Bounty products packaged in the same type of bottle, but the pills only fill a small fraction of their container. I'm a repeat customer and am otherwise pleased with the product.

In the past year I developed chronic hive of unknown etiology and was told by my allergist to take Allegra. It worked but I didn't want to become dependent on this, so searched for natural supplement. After Internet search I began taking quercetin plus vitamin C, and they relieved my hive so that I could reduce my Allegra from a pill a day to 1.5 day, but didn't really help me quit Allegra. During that time I also began to develop fungi on my toe nails, which showed discoloration and ridge. Another online search persuaded me to take garlic, and so I began taking this garlic pill. At that point, I gave up quercetin, and was diligently taking Allegra to manage my hives. And one day i realized I missed my daily Allegra for two days, but I was totally hive free! I was taking garlic but didn't link this to garlic at that point although I was already taking the second bottle. In the last few days i began to see great improvement in my toe nails, too - they now almost grew out of discolored ridges. This time I am quite convinced that garlic helped me fight fungi, and thinking back, it could have been garlic that also helped me with the terrible chronic hive.Here, sample size is 1, and there are lots of cofounders in this correlation. Oh, it may be just a coincidence. But if you are open to try suppplements for chronic hives and/or nail fungi, why not try one to increase our sample size.P.S. quercetin plus vitamin c worked great for my friend who had seasonal allergy, and helped him quit Claritin.
