I've been drinking more loose leaf tea and needed a pot large enough for more than one 16oz mug's worth. So I had this one sitting in my wish list for a while due to it's 42oz size and then when it dropped in price to $13 I snatched it up.+ Large pot! I can brew several cups and let them steep for my desired flavor.+ Easy to pour a cup of cold tea and then microwave my cup if I want it hot or further ice it for some yummy sweat cold tea.+ The pot is easy to clean> I'm assuming the plastic infuser is "food safe". A stainless steel infuser would have worked too, but the plastic does work surprisingly well.+ Nice large infuser to put as little or as much loose leaf for steeping. Love it.+ I read the product description and I do NOT put this on the stove, but pour hot kettle water into it. Works easy enough.OVERALL: For the $13 it is totally meeting my tea drinking needs and easy clean up.

Handle can seem a little loose when the pot is full, and the bottom plastic plate also seems loose when the pot is hot, but the pot does exactly what it's supposed to do, so no major complaints!

not the kind of teapot i am looking for. i thought this was stove top safe but its not. seller did not state it anywhere oh there post that it was or wasn't. and it said that this teapot has silicone on it, well there is not silicone anywhere. its this like cheap plastic. was very disappointed when i recieved this teapot and i really needed the teapot too to drink my herbal medicine.

I liked this teapot. It made the perfect flavor of tea, for several cups. It's nice to have the same strength consistently over time.The handle seemed a little weak, but it did the job fine throughout all the cups I had. I was unsure whether the lid would stay on when the pot was tilted, so I poured slowly and carefully to avoid the possibility that the lid might pop off and splash the hot tea all over me.The only drawback I saw was that the tea in the pot cools faster and faster with each cup of liquid removed (obviously), and I didn't know how to heat it up again. Could I put the teapot in the microwave? I couldn't see any metal on it, but that's not the only concern when microwaving something, so I reheated subsequent cups in their mugs in the microwave.The cleanup was a bit confusing. I don't know if it was the specific tea I used or the steeping basket, but I was left with a lot of tea leaves firmly stuck in the basket's holes. No amount of soaking, water pressure, or scrubbing would remove the leaves. I finally got a toothpick and poked all the leaves free.I was unsure about how to wash the teapot. There were no instructions for that. I settled on just rinsing everything really well immediately after finishing it.The microfiber cloth was a nice quality and didn't leave fuzz on things. I didn't know what its purpose was, though, since there were no washing instructions for the teapot. I ended up using it sort of like a hot pad, and set the teapot on it. This caught any drips that came from pouring the tea, and gave me a place to set my stirring utensil.Overall, I liked the teapot and will continue to use it when I want multiple cups of tea. I received this for my honest and unbiased review.
