Space saving hangers
Repeat buyer of these as we have very limited closet space. I had bought 2 of these for myself several years ago and bought two more recently for my spouse. We share about 7 feet of closet hanging space in a very old house so it’s tight.Off season clothes go in a chest of drawers and we have very minimal wardrobes. It’s nice to hang our jeans and slacks on these hangers. Sturdy and easy to use.

Nice product
I was not sure if this would be durable enough for a pair of slacks but they worked great as I like a slacks hanger with something at the top and not a flat topped slacks hanger.

Practical, Easy-To-Use, & Attractive
I purchased this for $7.78 and received it 2 days later with free Prime shipping. It arrived carefully packaged and in pristine condition. I own a few other organizational items by Whitmor and have been happy with them but wanted to try this hanger out before investing in more. Now that it's here, I'm definitely going to be buying at least 4 more! The quality is awesome! It's what I would consider to be "heavy duty." I hung up 5 of my favorite jeans on it without incident (I utilized the bottom non-swing bar for the 5th pair). Although multiple jeans create a good deal of weight, the hanger didn't bend or buckle. I was actually more concerned about the closet rod, LOL. Ok... So, I'm not a big person but I believe that this hanger could easily accommodate much larger, and subsequently heavier jeans, no problem. This hanger is very functional. It's easy to use and doesn't require delicate handling. The swing bars open and close easily, so yes, I believe that it's practical for everyday use (as opposed to a complicated contraption that's only useful for storing seasonal items). It doesn't look like it's going to break from frequent use or with time. However, I will certainly update this review if I leant any different.NOTE: The swing bars don't open very wide, about 3 inches out before they begin to demonstrate resistance. I found this to be ample space to insert the garments so it wasn't an issue for me but it may be a factor to others. On to its appearance. This may not be a major consideration for most people but it's important to me. I recently have been on a mission to make my closet look nicer. This includes getting it super organized, incorporating IPOW chrome closet organizers, and replacing my rat-tat collection clothes hangers with high-quality heavy gauge stainless steel chrome hangers by ZICOME and Sorplus. This hanger blends in beautifully with the rest of the closet.Buying new or unfamiliar items online can be risky. I believe that this hanger is well worth the cost and that it would be difficult to find equitable quality for this price in a local retail or department store. As a result, I highly recommend it!

Best I've found.
They clamp tight and they're made of some silicone or rubber-like substance that really grips the item you're hanging. Using wood versions of these things, sometimes they hold the item, sometimes not, especially thin fabrics like silk or something. These are great. Highest recommendation.

Hang And Dry
I use the Whitmor Chrome Skirt and Slack Hangers to hang up all my jeans to dry. I toss the jeans in the dryer just long enough to get them warm enough to get the wrinkles out. I remove them from the dryer and hang them up by the bottom of the leg openings by aligning the four seams that come down the leg, clamp a hanger on and hang them up. The slip resistant vinyl coating grips the jeans well and does not leave marks or impressions on the jeans. The hanger grips well enough that it has even withstood hanging on the clothesline outside on fairly windy days. The hanger is wide enough that it goes the full length of the leg opening with a couple inches to spare on my plus size relaxed jeans along with my husbands boot cut jeans. I have used the foam and chrome hangers before, but these hangers are far more superior. I know I'm not using the hangers for their intended purpose, but for my purpose they work out great. I have never been one to dry jeans all the way. I don't care for the shrinkage that comes with machine drying. The plus size is not so much the problem, it the length that gets lost. Not too many tall plus sizes. These hangers are an easy tool to give me the option to air dry. I bought one set of 2 of the Whitmor Ebony Chrome Skirt and Slack Hangers, but I see another purchase in the near future.

Whitmor Skirt and Slack Hanger - They work great, but be careful not to break them.
Whitmor Skirt and Slack Hanger - These are terrific hangers, but after reading some reviews complaining about the plastic portion of the hook breaking, I can see why you need to gentle with them. Using the chrome portion of the hook to clamp the hanger closed applies a lot leverage and stress to the plastic. I own some similar older hangers where that part is all metal, and less likely to break. Maybe a better design would be an all-metal hook, plus a nylon roller sleeve to preserve the smooth operation. Great hangers, just close them using the plastic, and keeps your hands off the hook.

Clips very tight
It is exactly what I wanted, however, the clips are very hard to open. I have to use both hands and then quickly slip the skirt in the clip before I can no longer hold it. Maybe the clips will get easier to open over time.
