Very nice, worth what I paid.
For $14.98 this is a very nice knife. It's the handle from an United Cutlery M48 tomahawk with a 13 inch long, 2 1/2 wide at the tip, and nearly 5 mm thick stainless steel blade sticking out of it. The sheath has a belt loop, but it's probably only suitable for storage. With the length of the blade and the thinness of the handle, I don't think you could cut down a tree with it. However, the blade does have a gut hook, suggesting it's not meant for yard work. I think it will work well as a home defence tool. It combines the simplicity of use of a baseball bat... with a gut hook.

Cool looking, but only PARTIAL tang
Pros: The machete is very cool looking. The blade is smooth steel and seems fairly solid. The handle seems like its made of strong material. I think that it will make for a very good home defense weapon.Cons: The machete is only PARTIAL tang despite the claims of the seller. The blade does not extend the full length of the handle. The sheath is made of very poor quality material and one of the clips actually came ripped off. The paracord handle was untied/loose so I had to retie it. Quality control team are you out there?

a nice weight and length
Very thick blade surprisingly, a nice weight and length. I would have and probably will re-tie the paracord handle, its well done, just a bit loose.A very nice item, Havent tested it yet, but it comes fairly sharp.

Poor quality handles
For starters I didnt like receiving a rounded blade, but then the handle snapped after using it on a small branch after just 3 swings. So only buy this if it's just to hang on the wall and not get used.

Peice of junk
If there was a way to do 0 stars i would this product is not what is advertise it is NOT FULL TANG this is quite literally what happened the first time i hit a tree branch you can tell from the fact there are no marks on the blade

Sleek and matte
I thought I was just buying another flimsy internet blade knock off. But NO, this item is all it claims to be and more!. Easy to clean and handle has compatible grip and comfort.If you're a fan of beer, you be delighted to find out that the "hook" near the end of blade can also be used as a bottle opener. ;)
