Milwaukee2754-20 - M18 FUEL 3/8" Compact Impact Wrench w/ Friction Ring -Bare Tool

This thing punches well above its weight, and keeps asking for more. This is a very good little impact, and it has way more break away torque than I was expecting. Ive used this for lugnuts before with an adapter, and admittedly it hammered a little longer than a 1/2" impact would, but it still accomplished the task without complaints. I would definitely buy this again. It has 3 speeds and one weird on where it is in speed 2 and will hammer for 2 seconds and shut off. Kinda weird but whatever. This tool does not come with a batter but with the standard M18 battery, the life is plenty long enough for a whole days work if youre using it all day. I use ut pretty seldomly, it mostly sits on my box and is used to remove skid plates and lugnut caps and such, so I can usually go several weeks without needing to charge it.

Excellent impact. Used mostly to rotate tires. Has plenty of torque for this. The 1.5 ah batteries are sufficient for this. If you need longer use times I would suggest upgrading to a 4-5 ah battery. I have used this same model in a maintenance manufacturing setting with the larger battery and it is surprising how long it last. Also a very durable tool. I’ve seen them severely abused and still did their job.

I've used this tool at work for 2 years, like it so much I bought a 2nd one for home. I work for a Caterpillar dealership and this tool has held up under heavy use with no problem. I also use his big brother the 1/2 inch drive that kicks butt. These can't be beat.

For the man or woman who has to have the tool to do a multitude of jobs. Small size and big power make this little monster ideal for busting a nut in small spaces. Adjust power settings provide versatile functionality for even the jobs that need power and touch. It’s the tool for me and it’s the tool for you.

I gave it a 5 star review because you get what you pay for. It is a good quality tool for the money just like every Milwaukee tool I have. That said I’m disappointed and will be buying a snap-on 3/8 drive impact. I already have the newest snap-on 1/2 drive 20v impact, and it cost too much but it will put Milwaukee to shame in a professional setting. I like Milwaukee and they are good quality, but snap-on is still better in the heavy truck/automotive industry.

As a professional automotive technician I use this tool everyday. It is strong, lightweight and a good value for the money. i really like the power adjustment that lets you select what power level the impact operates at. This keeps you from overtightening small bolts and possibly breaking them off. i don't know of any other impact that has this feature

this is one powerful and tough little impact and you don't need to get the bigger batteries for it to work a long time i bought the 5.0 and 2.0 the 2.0 last really well and easy to get in tighter spaces no it's not 1/2 inch power but close i had a Snapon before this one i like this better and the price point big deference i am very pleased with it.

Very glad to see that the impact came early. It was brand new, in the original Milwaukee ‘tool only’ box and it worked as well as I had hoped. It came in handy when we had to use it on some of the more stubborn bolts on the suspension of my 2008 F150. I have the 1/2” high torque impact but it’s too big to fit in some of the more cramped spaces, let alone have wiggle room to use a breaker bar. Overall, I’d highly recommend this tool if you’re looking for some compact power.
