Great product
I started removing grout in the 70's. That's where a hand tool and pick combined with a lot of elbow grease were used. Oscillating tools are a better option for small grout removal jobs. I'm currently removing grout in 3 rooms. So, I decided to give this blade a try.It exponentially increases the grout removal one straight runs. Just before to use the saws low speed. For example, I use a Makita 36v saw that has 2 speeds. The fast speed worked and cut through the gout quickly, however I burned the blade halfway through the kitchen floor. If I used the slow speed might have finished the room with 1 blade.Whoever, installed the floor left the grout line bulging above the tile. Holding the saw at a slight angle it was easy to control the saw.Bottom line I highly recommend this product. Just use a slow speed, take your time and refrain from applying excessive pressure and you'll be satisfied with the results.

works for grout
Works great for what it is, but i think i prefer a hand saw. Steadying this in the sawzall is difficult.

After trying many tools, this is my favorite.
I used this to clear dried mortar from between the tiles on my new floor and it worked great. My spacing was 1/8", and this tool was thin enough to fit in there. It's very quick to remove mortar, probably even quicker for grout. But you gotta be really careful, run the saw slow and hold it steady, if it's going faster and bounces out of the joint, it will easily scratch the tile.

Loses cutting ability rapidly
This looked like a good tool to remove some 25-year-old tile grout from 12x12 tiles in my shower. Apparently, a very sturdy quality of grouting was used and the cracks and missing chips are not pervasive or is the grout "rotten" and molding. After an initial bite into the grout, the tool failed to penetrate or continue to grind to any depth. Where it had started, it would remove the sides of the crack but it would not proceed into new territory.
