It makes it easier to measure buildings alone, good hook.

I use one up yearly. I use it every day as I do residential real estate appraisals. It has a massive hook so I can hook onto wide rounded stucco corners.It measures in engineering inches.

Great product and service. The large hook attachment on the end makes measuring much more efficient.

I am an appraiser and prefer this one to other more modern measuring tapes. This has no fast roll up so it rolls up as fast as you can roll it up. Whenever I have used those that roll up faster via a mechanism they always end up hitting you in the end pretty badly. This one stays put when attached and does get entangled occasionally, but nothing too bad. It also comes with feet in 10ths only so no need to convert measurements. Most tapes out there have the inches on the front side when the hook is attached which means you would need to turn each time to see what the measurement is.

Awful! I am an appraiser and bought this after checking out reviews. However, the line gets twisted and stuck, then won't unroll or roll up. This has happened almost everytime I have used it. In addition, it is VERY slow to roll up. Don't waste your money. Buy something else.

I have been buying this brand of tape for years & have noticed the quality is not as good. The hook always eventually breaks at the corner on all tapes. This last one the pin broke where the handle meets the tape case.
