Reference Manual
Great book to be used for a reference manual. Steve brought forth an number of interesting concept using statistics in chart form. This is something you can not memorize, so as a reference manual it excels. He repeats again and again about his verification methods and how he arrived at his candle accuracy numbering/percentage method of a selected candle pattern. It’s a 700+ page book, well written, but is slanted towards the seasoned trader. This book does not tie together technical analysis with candles

So much information
This thing is loaded with stats, information, tests, trials...you name it. So not only does it go into every pattern there is, it also lists out how it performed and the conditions for the tests. A must have for all traders libraries.

Monumental work
Huge book full of analysis, schemes, data. It's impossible to read and memorize that all, its correct use is on topic: when you suppose to have met something interesting, verify on text if you're right ... and in case of positive match you'll find in the book a lot of useful stuff.

Another "A+" book from Thomas Bulkowski
Terrific book. I have this one and Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns both will help make you a better chart reader.

Not for beginners.
Order this for my son who is just really getting started. And I wanted him to have the best. All the reviews pointed to this one. However it is not for beginners. Arrived with a 3 days.

Useful as a resource, however not a very good read
I read the previous reviews, they seemed outsanding, and I decided to purchase the book as a result. Form page one, you can tell it is not very well written, and this is replicated throughout the entire book. The data the research has been applied to is purely the stocks of the S&P500, which is fine if you trade those stocks. However if you trade the Foreign Exchange then the research in this book doesn't apply. I also think the book is way over priced at the £60 - £80 region. In my opinion the original texts on Japanese Candlestick Charting by Steve Nison are the best books to by on the subject, mainly the 2nd edition, are much better priced, a much better read and much more informative.

Beacons for Trading the Markets!
An awesome statistical review and reference on candlestick patterns, and a super companion to Thomas' Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns! Don't enter Wall or Bay Streets without looking at both of them!

A book without peers
This is truly a great work by Bulkowski. Over 100 candlesticks are explained in great details complete with illustrations. This tome should be in the possession of any person serious about trading.

A must have book
Excellent book that explains what each candlestick pattern means in Queen’s English in a very easy to use consistent format. A genuine encyclopedia.
