GE WX05X10102 Belt Install Tool for Washer

Some people say you really don't need this, but for me it was definitely needed. It helped a lot.

Used this tool to install a washer drive belt on a GE washer. This tool was harder to install than the belt, but when installed it made the belt easier to install. Needed only one of the two "O" rings, the second is probably a spare.

Had to replace a washing machine motor. This tool was very helpful in re-installing the belt.

This tool is a bit over priced for what you get. If you are not sure how to change a belt it will help. I did not use it to change the belt on my washer. I used two tie wraps to hold it to the drive wheel. It takes a bit of effort but it will fit. Remove the tie wraps once you have the belt on. You may need to rotate the drive wheel to get the belt in the proper position. Hope this helps.

I paid over $30.99 for this tool that costs less than $1 to make (a fraction of that even). This was a huge ripoff but it was what I needed to put my belt on. From installation videos I found out the belts (that are around $25) use to come with this tool but do not any longer. To recap, this product works but is majorly overpriced. Please try to get your belt on without buying this tool.

Little difficult to get on pulley but it was a real blessing. Tried to put belt on several times without this tool. One time after I mounted it.
