After all it is the design that drives the animation, fail to make a great design and it doesn't matter how nice the animation is.Lots of insider tips for those looking to break into the industry on how to approach work and what they look for when hiring new talent.I'm sure there is plenty for someone with more expe too but this review is from a student's perspective.

It talks about how to look at animation and the process of creating a motion design piece. It shows you how important the process is from the beginning and that the framework needed to take that idea through the steps of creating a professional work. The ideas of mood boards and style frames and the initial brain storming that is the foundation of any great work.It shows you how to create these style frames and boards in order to develop a concept through story telling in order to convey whatever message it is you need to tell. In short, it's a book about being a professional motion designer in the grand scheme of things rather than a youtube tutorial on how to make a cool specific thing. A must have for any creative involved in motion design.
