Decent oil
This oil seems to do its job well. My only real gripe is that its very thin. My saw likes to leak bar oil and this thin oil definitely doesn't help with that. Also I have had a couple instances where my chainsaw bar started to smoke. If bar oil is too thin and slings off the chain too easily, then it doesn't lubricate properly and can cause smoke. That being said smoke coming off the bar can also be caused by a dull chain, over-tensioned chain, or too much downward pressure when cutting. I can't be certain about what caused it in my case.If you have a chainsaw that's prone to leaking bar oil you could try to find a thicker oil, or you can do what I do which is fill a condiment bottle with the oil and just squirt some in the saw before and while you're using it as needed. Otherwise you may see an oil puddle underneath your saw next time you go to use it.

Good oil, but the price has gone way up since I bought it
While it does feel thinner than other bar oils, it works just fine in my Stihl MS251, perhaps because we’re well into late fall, and the temperature is in the 30s and low 40s. I ordered it because the price at the time was the lowest I’d seen on line, but since then it has gone up to where it’s now 50% more expensive than Husqvarna. If I was buying today, I’d buy the Husqvarna.
