No. Biofreeze works by creating a cooling effect. By using a heating pad with Biofreeze, you risk serious injury to yourself, and it can cause severe blistering.

I put it in my forehead when I feel that I'm going to start with headache and works well on that, I use on muscle aches, everywhere I feel to use, I do and with confidence.

Q: How does Biofreeze compare to using an ice pack?

They really aren't the same thing ts all. An ice pack is simply what it says, frozen water in a package that can be used as a home-remedy to help in bringing down inflammation. Biofreeze has an incredient in it similiar to something like Bengay or IcyHot. It is used for more of an medicinal value for pain and inflammation than simply ice. I believe both to be effective, alternating throughout the day and evening. Ice packs are always great to keep in the freezer in case something like a sprain occurs. I believe Biofreeze is beneficial especially for those who are either chronic sufferers or who have an injury that does not heal in just a few days.

Q: How does the roll on compare to the normal rub in gel?
