Breezee BZ7148 Soothing Shell Sound Machine - Pearl White

These are the BEST noise machines...I never understood why they aren’t more popular with people. I have the same ones running daily for the past 14 years and still no sign of dying. So please don’t stop making. My children love them and so do I. I just purchased another because my sons are finally getting their own bedrooms and so I needed another one. What do I love...the volume for one is high but can be softer if you like...we like loud to tunnel outside noise!!!! I like the shape because I love the beach and those others out there are odd looking to me

A great, inexpensive product. I was concerned that I would end up with a bulky, ugly product but I am pleasantly surprised that the shell takes up very little space, is unobtrusive and works very well. It has multiple options but my favorites are rain and white noise. The volume is adjustable which is quite useful also. I definitely endorse this product as it is well worth the price!

My son has anxiety and difficulty sleeping. He now listens to this every night as he falls asleep. I was a little disappointed in the quality of each sound but overall it was worth the price and is definitely helping my son sleep.

I ordered this item for the soothing sounds advertised, but the sound was anything but soothing! Any adjustment of the volume control yielded a very scratchy noise, and in the middle of the night it would often go to full volume and wake us up with a start! Fortunately, Amazon's return policy allowed us to return it for a full refund. Then we ordered a Conair "Soothing Sounds" (again through Amazon) for a lower price, and got much better sound quality, and the volume level remains constant through the night.

I read the mixed reviews on the Breezee and waited several weeks before deciding to go ahead and buy it. But I was soon disappointed. I bought it to drown out sounds when I sleep so I can avoid using earplugs. (I live in an urban area by a pond, so I hear street noises throughout the night and also birds in the morning.) I tried the Breezee for two nights and then packed it up to ship it back to Amazon.The problem? The only sound setting that works reasonably well for sleep is the "white noise" setting. (Some settings would be okay for ambient noise but not for sleeping.) But the white noise turned out to be so irksome that I didn't sleep well with it. The others either have a rhythmic clicking noise in the background that irritates or don't sound like they're supposed to. The ocean setting, for instance, doesn't sound at all like the ocean to me.So if you're buying the Breezee to help you sleep, I wouldn't bother.

I bought The Shell to drown out noises while traveling. This machine is small, cute, has good volume with several soothing sounds. White Noise is the only sound I wanted. While laying in a level position with the machine nearby I could hear the inner wheels turning. They made a little tune all their own that I didn't appreciate. I returned for refund, that's the bad news. It costs 6.00 for UPS to pick up, that's okay, but the company attached charges so I only got a 17.00 refund!

Performs exactly as described. Soothing sounds and loud enough to block out background noise without being offensive. I purchased it to help my wife sleep. And after many others, she is very happy with this one. Excellent product.

Worked as expected. The soothing sound machine worked fine. But the power cord had to be replaced by Amazon prime for free. worked with batteries. but not with the power cord that came with it.. Worked fine with replacement power cord.
