BENYAR Men's Chronograph Analogue Quartz Watch with Rubber/Stainless Steel Bracelet BY-5140M

I was searching for a blue silicone rubber strap for another watch and this popped up for a reduced price of £19 due to damaged packaging. Since silicone straps were £25, it was a no-brainer and for giggles this £19 "strap" came with a free cheap watch.The silicone strap fits my other watch perfectly.....RESULT!Just for fun I popped a leather strap costing twice as much as the watch onto the Benyar and have worn it once or twice and yes it's ok. Out of the box, the hand on the minute sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position was out by two minutes but this can be remedied by pushing the chrono pushers when the crown is pulled out as for time and date setting.HOWEVER! Run the stopwatch and the hand on the 1/10 sub-dial at the 12 o'clock position takes 2 seconds to do one full revolution on a dial graduated 0 2 4 6 8 0. You'd think that a company that has gone to the trouble of designing, manufacturing, marketing and selling a watch would at least get the primary requirement of displaying the time elapsed correctly on a meaningful scale. You had ONE JOB!The Tachymetre scale on the bezel is largely useless when in stopwatch mode as the large central second hand is just that, the second-hand, whilst the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position displays the seconds elapsed when using the chronograph / stopwatch.There is no flyback functionality, so when resetting the stopwatch you have to wait for it to "unwind" the minute hand with multiple revolutions of the second hand to return back to zero. Frustrating if you're timing multiple runs. It takes three seconds per revolution of the second hand to unwind so if you've timed 30 minutes it'll take up to 90 seconds to reset. If the minutes displayed are greater than 30 when you reset the chronograph it will wind forwards to zero the minute and second hands.It's large, I have an 8.5 inch wrist and it wears quite well.It is however still all functioning and keeps time well.You pays yer money...

Great thought I would get a watch for holiday Amazon delivery so quick bought it off here but surprisingly not working ? Instructions state no need to wind your watch arrives working with its battery in situ and if battery needs changing send it to the manufacturer? So I leave Friday no time to return before I go or send to manufacturer’s! It will be going back it makes me wonder how long it has been sat in the warehouse?

Very happy with the Benyar watch’s , loved the first one I got and so purchased a second second . For the cost of the watch I think they are great value for money ,look and feel much more expensive . Have only had them a few month but work great all buttons work perfectly . Hopefully they will just carry on working away the same but so far very happy and am now looking at another one .

This is a Christmas present so don't know how it works until after Christmas, but it looks nice and very good quality. It's just for a day to day work watch.

How do I get the watch to start working? I have set the time but it is not working??

It was heavier than I thought and came in a beautiful box with tool to adjust the size. Very happy with my purchase as it was a gift for my son.
