Coronado Cajeta Quemada, 13.1 Oz

OK, so as Mexican living in the USA I can say this is the real deal, one I have allergies to cow milk and this is from goat, so I can tell you it's really from goat as I didn't get sick. Price is a bit steep, compared with what I pay back in Mexico, but heck is worth the price.

This is the REAL thing, I grew up eating this stuff, but lately it seemed that it has become really hard to find anywhere. There is one called Cajeta spread..... yikes is awful. This Cajeta Quemada is the real thing. A bit pricey but love it.

This cajeta is very delicious! We use it on sliced apples, strawberries, cheesecake, toast, and coffee. It's a little pricey for the small bottle but the cajeta is creamy and very tasty. I store in the refrigerator upside down without a problem.

Caramel made from goat's milk has a specific flavor difference from that made from cow's milk. This in my opinion did not taste like goat's milk caramel at all. It tasted like it was made with cow's milk but priced as the more expensive goat's milk. Very disappointed.

I used this to make a chocoflan called and it turned out fabulous. They didn't sell this in my grocery store so I'm very glad I found it here!
