Had no idea these were out there, but with my special needs son getting too big for 5 point harness, I needed something that would keep him safely in his booster. This is simple and effective.

It works but the plastic is too thin.

Work great in a standard vehicle with upright seatbelt latches/buttons. Seem to be well made and easy to use.

We operate a daycare program for seniors and some of the clients have a habit of taking off their seatbelts while we're transporting them to and from home. We tried Angel Guards but they broke too easily. We recently bought a few Buckle Guard PRO units to try out. So far, only one client has been able to get his off, and it may have been a case of the cap not being screwed on tightly enough. They definitely work better than the AGs. They seem expensive for what amounts to little more than a hinged piece of plastic with an oversized child-proof cap on top, but I have to say it's a pretty ingenious concept. We don't have any young children to try these on, but if your kids are too small to open a medicine bottle they probably won't be able to undo these either.

I purchased this for our 9 and 12 year old Autistic children. My 9 year old was able to open it after the second use. He was able to squeeze the gray base and the cap popped right off. This item states that it is for special needs children but it did not work for us.
