They both on easy and don't seem to leave any noticeable damage scratching marring or scarring to the standing seam. While not necessarily designed to hold product on a roof they certainly can be used for toe boards.

I ordered this item thru Amazon because they would deliver it quickly (36 hrs) and they did. This is a great standing seam clamp. It's almost universal and is extremely well made. Don't hesitate to buy this one if you need one. If you have time you can find it for a few dollars less.

This is the ONLY standing seam anchor that works on a standing T seam metal roof. Solid aluminum with 12 bolts to hold it in place. It literally is now part of the roof. Worth the price for certified safety equipment!

Was VERY disappointed in the damage it caused to the ribs of the panel! When tightened enough to hold someone's weight, the set screws almost pierced the panel and if you don't tighten them enough they slide and scratch the paint off of the ribs. They are definitely not to be used while installing a new roof!

The Roof Anchor appears to be a solid device but when the purchase was made there was no option to select a device with nylon tipped set screws (or none that was readily available). As a result, I had to make another purchase and wait another 3 days. The two purchases resulted in an overall price that I view as exorbitant.

Works Great. Standing Seam only. Did not work on corrugated Metal.

I will receive 6 of these Tuesday. I have been a iron worker for 30+ years, and these look to be a great addition to my safety arsenal!
