Exactly as pictured and imagined. These are great for our home-made wines. Takes a #8 sized cork nicely and the lack of bevel at the bottom means a slightly smaller bottle for those tight on space. I was torn on purchasing bottles or re-using old bottles. For the price, this was the easy way to go when we had 12 gallons of wine to bottle. I used these for one 6 gallon batch and re-used bottles for the second batch. These were SO MUCH LESS work than cleaning old bottles, removing labels, etc.The unforseen positive was that the box they came in made for perfect stacking after the bottles were filled. I simply put them back in their box, left it upright for a couple days (per corking requirements), and then stored the box on it's side. For my re-used bottles, storing was more trouble with all the bottles of different heights and widths.So - my verdict - if time is money to you, go with new bottles. If you have the time, the proper area to stack random bottles, and want to save about a dollar per bottle of wine, then go with used.

My husband and I recently started making and bottling our own wine and we are both very happy with these bottles. They are very well made and you will end up with a quality expensive looking bottle of wine. There are no bubbles or imperfections in the glass that would take away from the look. Easy to clean and use. Labels adhere perfectly. We are very very satisfied with this bottles ans have ordered others from this seller. They offer a variety of styles and colors at a great price. We just ordered some red ones for our next batch and they are beautiful and exactly what we expected from this seller. You can order with confidence, you will be very happy.

The bottles were excellent and exactly what I expected. However, they were shipped in a relatively thin cardboard box that arrived with part of the upper flap partially torn open. Amazingly, the bottles were all undamaged. Luck?

These were shipped in a standard wine bottle box put in another box with paper for protection. All arrived perfectly fine, not chips, ding or scratches. Each of the bottle I got look brand new. Some bottles can get slight scratches right below the neck where the bottles may rattle together, but these are completely flawless. An excellent buy if you want clean new bottles for wine making.

Based on other reviews I was expecting to have a broken bottle or two BUT it says FRAGILE in all sides of the boxes, something I read was not on the boxes for previous buyers but it was for me and all arrived safely.

Bought these for bottling homemade wine - lord knows I have plenty of bottles I could’ve used from previous consumption of store bought wines but wanted a consistent bottle. 2 cases (24) arrived in perfect condition; none broken, none chipped, none cracked. A few had small but distinguishable air bubbles - fortunately in spots that’ll be covered with a label. These will work perfectly and believe to be a very good value and quality.

The bottles arrived in one piece, the quality seems good.Only con I have is the shipping price. It will be more economical for me in the future is to go to a local home brew store for this purchase.

My husband makes wine and does not like punted bottles. These work well.
