Yes it's the 12l size but the bag is split into 2 sections: a separate water bladder compartment and a separated luggage space. Plenty of space for a day pack requirments. The bladder compartment is spacious and this comes with the 3l bladder, so highly recommended!

Q: Is there a cover that fits this model?

I'm not sure if there's a mad to measure cover, but I do have a Hump cover which works perfectly well.

Q: Is the bag waterproof ?

It is not sold as waterproof and it has nothing about it to suggest that it is. It does however have compartments inside that I would guess will keep thing like a mobile phone etc, dry in all but the most torrential downpour. I can say, it is the most comfortable back I have had for MTB and it certainly seems well made.
