Flavor Name:Decaf Verona Decaf Caffè Verona This is a decaf coffee of one true love and three names. We created it expressly for a Seattle restaurant in 1975, naming it Jake’s Blend. And people loved it. So many, in fact, that we began hand scooping and blending it to order in our stores, where it was known as 80/20 Blend. The love was so strong that we finally made it official, calling it Verona after the city that inspires so many. By any name, this is a thing of pure romance.

Did not smell like coffee
bought this 2X so far, because I'm a cheapskate! The first bag was totally fine. I opened the 2nd bag and it did not smell like coffee or coffee beans at all. More like chemicals and old and stale. Not scary or horrible, just not a coffee bean smell at all. It seemed safe though and the brewed cups are OK not great. But I guess I will stick with brands where the beans really smell like coffee beans instead of smelling like stale-something.

It’s expired, still drinkable but way overpriced given that fact.
I’m giving one star because it's not made clear that it's being sold well past it Best By Date (BBD). Granted it's not milk and is still brew-able but the fact that it's old/expired should be fully disclosed. Also you can find it (SBUX Commercial bags disclosed as being past the BBD) for a lot less ($15/5LBS bag) from other reputable sellers online so the value here is very poor and I will buy it again, just not here.

Hard to Find in Whole Bean Verona Decaf
My wife likes her coffee in the morning but can only do half decaf/half regular. She likes the Verona roast and I grind the coffee so I’m always hunting for whole bean Verona Decaf and Regular. Whole bean Verona Regular is easier to come across. It was a great find to come across a 5lb bag of Verona Decaf here on Amazon. Since we’re not a coffee shop the beans do get a bit drier towards the end of the bag but it’s manageable.I’m glad this is available, thank you.

Good cold brew
The smell is awesome. It is so overwhelming out of the bag. Great taste! Not sure what warmth has to do with cold brew beans but wife does use it for hot coffee too.

Starbucks does not use a special cold brew bean
Its acceptable at best. Will not purchase again, but it is coffee, and cheap. If you care about your coffee, dont buy

Great Price!
We have two french presses, so we use a lot of coffee beans. I LOVE Starbucks Blonde Roast Veranda, and buying it in this 5 pound bag is perfect for us! The price is great when I buy the big bag too!

Smooth n mild for decaf that suited my taste.
Lots of whole bean coffee for the price so vacuumed packed into smaller bags. I prefer grinding my own bean and enjoying the aroma each morning . Taste-wise, more toward the mild side for decaf. My wife drinks all caffeinated so I “cheat” a little by adding an once or two hers. You know, got to have a little punch to get the day cranked. Will order again.

Generic beans, no flavor
This product is terrible. This is the second time we’ve ordered it. The first bag was of good quality and clearly Starbucks brand. The second bag is low quality and not the same beans at all. Even in our French press using extra coffee the result is like brown hot liquid. So disappointing. Feels like a rip off. Beware the low quality beans. I’d rather drink Folgers.
