Ordered sizes 10 and 12 for my 8-yo son as I wasn’t sure what size would fit him. Those both ended up being too long. For reference, he’s about 54” (4’-6”). My son said the shirt itself felt fine. It also had padding in the forearms. Ultimately, he didn’t like the design so we didn’t try size 8, but I’m guessing that would’ve been a good fit.

Great fit and durability. My son wears it to every practice and it still looks like new after 6 months.
