Total piece of plastic junk
This thing is truely awful. The lid is the crappiest piece of plastic junk ever. If you're buying it as decoration, you'll love it. However if you want something functional, this is not the piece for you. We filled it up with cream for our coffee and put the dumb plastic lid on (which, by the way, skips threads and doesn't tighten easily) and when we went to pour the cream it popped off. The lid cannot hold any weight and the entire thing fell apart and came crashing down and spilled everywhere. Waste of money.

Not as described- lid is plastic w/stainless slide
I purchased this because it said stainless steel for the lid. This is incorrect. The only part that is stainless steel is the slide portion of the lid. The rest of the lid is Crome color plastic. This dispenser does not tighten and leaks. I was hoping that the lid was metal & from description it shld hv been.

We like EVERYTHING about this syrup pitcher, it is very well made & we enjoy it everyday at breakfast and it can also be used for other things - other than just syrup. FAST shipping too!

Don't but
Lid came totally apart the first time I pulled it back. Took my husband an hour to get it back together. The spring still wants to flip out of lid. Wont use. Thre away. Too much of a hassle to return as I live in the country and over an hour away from a post office, UPS and FedEx. Cheap.

Ordred a case of 24 of these and 2 arrived broken because they are not packed very well. (2 new ones on the way) Glass bottoms seem sturdy but the tops are VERY lightweight plastic and i can see them not holding under heavy usage. Only need them for 2 days week so we will see how it goes.

Poorly made
Very disappointed in this item. The jar itself is glass and perfect....but the lid is cheaply made and will not lock on. I guess that’s what you get for only $6.00.

False Advertising
It’s a cheap plastic lid that’s going to shatter the first time it’s dropped. The lid appears painted, the kind that starts to chip soon. The base is nice thick glass. To bad they put such a cheap lid on it.

The lid is not stainless steel. It is a silver coated plastic.
Not only is it misrepresented as a stainless steel lid/pourer but it is an inferior plastic one.and absolutely not a commercial grade one. Very disappointed I did not receive what I purchased. Please don't expect much from this.
