I bought this set to wear for my daughter's wedding next month. I finally unboxed them and tried them on (at my wife's suggestion) and I am very pleased with how well they work and look. I really like the adjustability of the cummerbund with the velcro straps, much better than the regular black cummerbund I normally use when I DJ weddings. The bow tie is also well put together and looks really sharp when paired with my all black tuxedo shirt. I don't know if I'll use the pocket square or cufflinks (as my tuxedo shirt has no pockets) but they are a nice addition and if you're looking for a specific color to match (I wanted to match the flower girls and bridesmaids / groomsmen) these sets are a good value for the price. I may well replace my normal black set with one that matches these as I like the design a lot better.

I looked at all of the reviews and decided this would work out fine for my son for formals & proms, with his size 27 waist. i did read the warning about the closure, but figured if I wasn't happy with it, I could change it. the fit was good, it adjusted small enough. The closure is unconventional for a cummerbund, but looked secure. Don't be fooled, it was not. It fell off him at some point, prior to the dance, and he didn't even notice it was missing until he got to the dance. He did not even get a one time wear. So, why the "okay" rating? Fabric quality was good, size of bow tie is appropriate, cufflinks & pocket square, all nice; as long as you change the cummerbund closure BEFORE it is worn, even once!

I didn't take time to read the reviews and I should have. The cumberbund actually measures 37 inches fully spread out. That's not like a 37 inch belt. The center panel is five inches high. I have a 36 inch waist with a modest (but dignified) pot belly. No way the thing would fit. And if it did, I'd never be able to bend over in it. If you are buying it for someone slimmer - say 33 or so, you'd be fine. Great for someone who does food service because it includes a whole package of accessories.Will I return it? Probably not. My friend who owns a catering service is glad to have it for his staff.

Nice little set. Got it for my brother's wedding since I had a black suit already. Saved me about $130 and my suit was pretty much a tux at that point. Nice little set! In the pic is what it looks like...

I wore this tie and handkerchief to my sisters wedding and it was AWESOME! Everyone couldn't stop commenting on it. I wore them with a white shirt and navy blue blazer and tan pants. The material has a nice silk feel and looks like a million bucks. The stripes are black, silver and bronze/gold, but not too flashy and matched great with a the navy blazer, would also look awesome with a white or black jacket.I have to admit, I didn't wear the cufflinks as they seemed a little fragile, so I used others, but the tie and handkerchief are worth the price alone and the cuffs would probably hold up for a few wears. I was 100% pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this set because of another review which said the it fit her son who has a 42 inch waist and likes a loose fit. Well, I have a 38 inch waist and it was too tight on me. It actually popped off when I was walking with my wife and she almost tripped over it. Didn't fall but managed to stomp on the cummerbund. Of course, I had failed to try the thing on until I had flown half way across the country for a wedding. Oh well. Wedding is over and cummerbund is in the garbage. Tie was OK. Of course, I already owned one of those. It would be nice if the cummerbund measurements were in the description.

Do not listen to other reviewers who say the product is cheap. I only wore it (the cummerbund) once so far, so I am not sure if it will last forever, but it does not look or feel cheap. Comes well packaged. Velcro makes it easy to size, but the velcro is not visible. Sturdy metal clip in back to secure it closed. The tie, is nothing special, not a clip on, but wraps around the neck and hooks. Does not look as nice as on you actually tie, but that's now what this promises to be.

This set was the only one I could find in that bright yellow. We had a vintage 1940's-50's themed wedding, with Batman, yes you read that right BATMAN undertones. ;) this yellow was vibrant and bright enough for our comic book vibe, but the silk was rich enough to match our classic vintage feel as well. The only complaint I have is that my husband insisted on wearing the cummerbund a bit snug, and he's a very slender man to begin with, but at one point he bent over during the reception to pick up our little adopted brother(in-law) and the metal connectors bent and basically stabbed him in the back, MEN BEWARE don't wear it tight! just enough to keep it up;)

Great value for the price you pay, for what you get (bow tie, cummerbund,cuff links and hankie) Good quality! Described as indigo which i believe is blue(ish) but ordered it as it looked like an amethesyt colour on the pictures, which was the colour wanted........... when arrived it was just the colour we wanted......... amethesyt (lilac) Brought for my son's school prom!

You get what you pay for, pretty much. The bow tie and and hanky are okay. I'm sure you could get better quality with a higher price, but they do the job. However, the price may show on the cufflinks without even a closer inspection. The cloth buttons don't sit that well in their metal frames, and in my set one of the buttons had a brown stain on it. I didn't intend to use them anyway, since I was just after the bow tie. We'll see if it'll survie the evening unharmed. Addition: Yes it did. Bow tie-wise this is a recommended package.

Reasonable quality material unfortunately the cumberband was too small didn't fit 38inch waist and one of th cuff links broke immediately.So my husband made do with the bow tie and handkerchief.

Bought these for my 16 year old son's prom. Against a black dinner suit these looked really striking and the splash of yellow was a great fun touch. Really pleased with this purchase.
