Sol Sunguard Lip Balm with SPF (Organic Unflavored SPF 15)

We've used the lip stick and Sol's other products for years and we really like them even thought it gives us a white cast to our skin.I found Sol at a tradeshow some years ago. They were demonstrating their sunscreen's eye friendliness by rubbing it in their eyes over and over during the show - it REALLY doesn't hurt the eyes. Since then I and my family have used it regularly and we love it (especially the face stick).They also were also one of the few sunscreens that wasn't jumping on the titanium dioxide (TiO2) nano-particle bandwagon. I particularly like this because nano-TiO2 turns out to be a really broadly-acting catalyst that breaks down many compounds - which is great in some ways - BUT I don't want to catalyze random breakdown reactions ON MY FACE. Talk about a bad idea! So we like that Sol's a simple non-nano zinc oxide cream.

I ordered the unflavored because the citrus which I have ordered before was not offered. The citrus was much better as the unflavored seemed to have a more dense and waxy the texture. I didn't like it at all.

I actually tuck this lip balm in the sleeve of my rash guard so I can reapply while out in the water ocean. I only use Sol lip balm.

On the Amazon description of the item the ingredients were listed as: "clear zinc oxide, jojoba, aloe, and antioxidants vitamins A and E". The actual ingredients are "Octinoxate (7.5%), Oxybenzone (3%). Organic palm oil, beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic hemp seed oil, rosemary extract, vitamin E."While I think the product deserves 1 star, I'm leaving it 3 stars based on the fact that seller was very courteous and prompt. They refunded me in full including shipping.
