Van Heusen Men's Short Sleeve Dress Shirt Regular Fit Oxford Solid

I really like this shirt. In the last few years I've had trouble finding shirts that are cut comfortably in retail stores so I took a chance and ordered this shirt. My biggest complaint with shirts in retail stores is that the under side of the sleeves are cut short, making it tight when I raise my arms. This shirt is cut such that it isn't a problem. It's cut more like some older shirts I have.I like the material. It's not really heavy but it's not paper-thin either. To me it feels like good material to the touch.This shirt has a rather long tail. I wear it untucked but it may be considered a bit long for that. There's plenty of material here to hem it if desired.

This is an excellent, High Quality shirt. It is a Van Heusen and it lives up to the product reputation. The shirt appears to be well made and durable. The cloth feels sturdy and yet it breathes. I live in Florida and have found the shirt to be cooler than some other shirts. They look really good coming out of the dryer as long as you take them out as soon as they dry and do not leave them sitting. I have noticed that after hanging for a while they look even better than when first removed from the dryer. I have found ironing to be unnecessary as they look good without it. However, if you want to look super sharp you can elect to starch and iron the shirts. I am an IT person and have to dress nicely but still need to crawl under desks and such from time to time and these shirts are a perfect combination work/dress shirt. I bought 6 of them in 3 different colors, wear them everyday and have been very pleased. I will continue to buy Van Heusen. Sometimes the brand name is worth it.

Have been a Van Heusen customer for years, in my former corporate life, requiring dress shirts. Knowing the country of origin, this shirt is made from outsourced short-staple cotton I believe, which is similar to cotton used for denim - based on my knowledge of working in the cotton industry for decades. It is a little rough and scratchy to the touch, and not of dress shirt quality. After one wash, and delicate dry, it had bends and wrinkles, despite being advertised as wrinkle free. I have returned it, versus having to iron it after each wash/dry.

I washed this shirt to get out the sizing and then pressed it head to toe so to speak. Wore it briefly and them washed it as I do all my other shirts and took it straight of the dryer as it cooled down. Wrinkled like crazy. Ironed and wore again washed and got a very wrinkled shirt again.It does not say it is no-iron but shirts of a cotton-poly blend usually are. So just be aware that if you want it to look nice it may need ironing/pressing after each wash.

I ordered a small, but it was more like a medium. I do wish that they had a size smaller, but that's alright. The shirt quality seems nice. I used it for a fix-it-felix costume. (side note - the badge with my name was sewn on after the fact)

Five Stars for both product and small delivery resolution . Material great, heavier than expected for hot weather use. However truly a well built shirt. I am positive I will have this shirt for a very long time. Putting quality back into menswear will have the overall effect of putting $$$ in the hands of the manufacturers, the distributors and (most critically) the couriers/postal employees. The latter are a whole new breed of First Responders. Thanks again

I bought a Van Heusen blue button down oxford shirt. I compared it to the same style and color shirt by Lands End and LL Bean. The Van Heusen was the least expensive of those I evaluated and it's price point reflected its quality and value. The shirt is poorly constructed and a noticeable defect (unsewn seam) was detected while unpackaging it. The shirt material is rough to the touch and does not iron well. The shirts are shipped in a bag which allows them to wrinkle easily. There is no cardboard to help the shirt maintain its shape. I will be returning the shirt. Summary: Spend more if you can afford it and get a better shirt.

I work in health care and wash my hands about 30 times a shift, and I’m expected to dress nice, so I prefer short sleeved dress shirts. This shirt fits the bill perfectly. It is quality material, not too thin, looks great and is comfortable to wear. It has button down collars, looks good with or without a tie, and has a front shirt pocket for my pens and penlight. Overall this is perfect for my needs. On top of that, it is very economically priced.

Ordered them for my brother, he absolutely loves them , he bought three in different colours , great fit looking forward to wearing them , he would certainly recommend.
