BEST Steel Fishtape
So I guess I have to tell you this is the BEST Steel Fishtape ( I own fiberglass, nylon, kryptonite [haha]) I have ever bought. This sumbitch just WANTS to pop up for ya! I am SO TIRED of fishin' out my fishtape with another fishtape cuz it won't slip the last 90! Big time/headache saver. Just buy the darn thing. It'll be the last steel tape you ever buy. (Oil 'er up anytime you use in the rain or push thru a flooded conduit, tho! She will rust but not right away- I recommend Remington Gun Oil... WD40 works, but ya gotta do it frequently cuz the silicone duddn't last...) Rock On, Wireheads!! ;) HEY GREENLEE!! MAKE A STAINLESS VERSION AND I'LL BUY THAT 'UN, TOO!!

Waste of $
I’ve been an electrician for twenty years and have used mainly Greenlee and Ideal fish tapes. I thought I’d try this due to its cool looking flexible head, as well as I needed a 250’ fish tape.I believe there’s too much steel tape in too small of a frame because I have trouble “feeding” the tape into a conduit while holding the black handle. Other tapes work fine this way—that is, hold tape handle left hand push tape into pipe and off of fish tape right hand. With this fishtape that’s not possible. Too tightly wound in body of fishtape for this to work. Basically same I’ve as 125’ fish tapes but with 250’ of steel tape. I’m actually considering opening the tape and cutting off 60’ or more of the back end of the tape to see if I can get it to work properly.

Quality Product
Had to run 120 feet of wire in a 3/4 conduit. Worked great!! Quality brand and product. The same the professionals use.

Very pleased so far with the performance
I have only used it five times, but the etched markings came in handy while pulling cable, no more guessing how long the run is. The 150ft length also helped for our 145 ft conduit pulls. Very smooth unwinding and rewinding. Very pleased so far with the performance.

Excellent quality Fish Tape
I needed a long fish tape to check for blockage in a line. My longest fish line was 75 feet. This unit at 250 feet allowed me to locate the blockage. The measured markings on the tape allowed me to identify the blockage at approximately 82 feet in. Just past the point of my 75 foot tape. Excellent quality.I hope I will not have to use it very often but it definitely meets and exceeds expectations.

Functional
I've had a Greenlee fish tape just like this one before. There's something odd about this one. The leader on it looks and feels sturdy but there's some kind of a rough coating around the soldered end that's connected to the tape. Normally when I use a brand new fishtape I can pull the tape out with one hand while holding the handle with the other and it comes out easy and kind of glides out. Not this one. It gets very hard and the only solution is to hold the handle and spin the case. I've been an electrician for over 30 years and I know a good new fishtape when I try to use it. So it functions but it's not up to par.

Saved a lot of time and energy
I found this to be useful while pulling ethernet cable through conduit but once you make the first run through the conduit you can attach s high quality pull string and use that to fish wires through the conduit then use the steel line to pull the pull string back thought and repeat back and forth until your done.

Failed during first use
Brand new , used one time and the respooling of the tape has a guide that failed. Must be a disgrace to Greenlee. I have products of theirs that are still in use for almost 30 yearsName is the same, manufacturer has no clue how to make a product for professional contractors
