The can opener arrived and was immediately tested. It performed flawlessly. The longer handles allow arthritic hands to easily apply pressure to the cutting wheel and the extended crank handle made for easy cutting. My wife, 82 yrs, was amazed. She didn't have fight the can! The magnet lifted the smooth cut lid out of the can. Needless to say she loved it. Now we will see how long it last.

We love these! Very easy for anyone to use, even the elderly or those with weak hands. We have now purchased 2 for put use (one in house and one in RV) and bought more as gifts.

Save your money, the magnet is thin and crappy. So crappy it was broken into 3 or 4 pieces when I took it out of the package.

This style takes up a lot of room in a kitchen drawer. It is less easy to use than I imagined. It has no trouble with cans, opening them with ease. It is rather expensive for a common tool.

The handle will take a little bit of Getting used to. This reminds me of the spectacular can opener my mother had when I was a little girl. Hers lasted for years, I hope this one does too.

THIS CAN OPENER IS WELL-WORTH THE COST. PROFESSIONAL QUALITY MAKES IT EASY TO USE BY ANYONE. IT GETS THE ENTIRE TOP OF THE CAN SEPARATED FROM THE CAN. ITS LARGER THAN THE USUALAL OPENER WITH RUBBER COVERS ON THE HANDLES. THERE IS NO RISK OF CUTTING YOUR HAND TRYING TO REMOVE THE CAN COVER. EVERY KITCHEN SHOULD HAVE ONE OF THESE APPLIANCES.
