It passed the test with my stubborn father-in-law!
My elderly FIL has had a basic cane forever and we were worried because his mobility and balance are going downhill fast. It just wasn’t safe anymore for his needs. I bought him this quad cane and he’s pretty stubborn about change so I wondered if he’d actually use it. After a few days of it just sitting there he tried it out and uses it every time he walks now. He really likes the ergonomic handle and that it stands on its own. He has even managed to attach his catheter bag to it so he has less burden when getting around. The only thing to note is when switching from a basic pole cane to a quad bottom, there is a bit of a chance to trip on the legs if you’re not used to it or if going up or down stairs. Note that all four legs need to be on the stairs for safety.I just told him to be mindful that he doesn’t trip on the extra legs and he’s doing really well with it. It’s been a month and no issues!

Very sturdy
My husband doesn't like soft foam handles so I purchased this cane. He says it's very comfortable on his hand. Very well made and adjustable.

Excellent quad cane
This is my first quad cane, which I needed after multiple surgeries on my legs in the past few years, resulting in significant instability. I didn't really know what I needed in a cane, nor what to expect when I used it. I purchased this one solely based on the size of the quad part, as it looked a little smaller than some. I have two flights of stairs in my home, and I needed a cane that would fit on these steps. This cane completely fit everything I needed. It is sturdy and not heavy, but not so lightweight that it feels like it's not going to stand up to supporting my weight. The base and feet fit very well on the stairs, giving me the ability to climb them with less worry about falling. I will be ordering another one soon to keep at my office for when I go back to work. It is a great quad cane, and for the price, it cannot be beat.

No more canes falling over
I bought this to replace a Hurry Cane that kept falling over. When you have arthritis the last thing you want to do is bend over and pick up your cane. Several times a day! The Hugo has a much larger base, so it doesn't fall over, and it seems really sturdy. The one negative, if you'd call it that, is that it takes some getting used to due to its wider base. Walking with it was a bit odd for me because it seemed as if it would never come down on all four feet. I've quickly adjusted to it, though, and it's meeting my needs really well.

nice cane
I was already having balance problems due to a foot surgery when I had a stroke that affected the other side of my body. I determined that a quad cane would be the best for me as I was ready to transition from a walker, my physical therapist agreed.Honestly I chose this cane, the rose one, mainly because it could be delivered next day at that time. I liked it so much that I purchased the black one later when I returned to work so I could keep one there. They are both very stable and stand well on their own, no rattles or wobbles. The grips are great and fit my hand perfectly. I am 5'10" and they are adjusted a little higher than recommended, but that is what is comfortable for me. So as you can see in the photo it can accommodate people who are a little over 6 foot and those just over 5 foot.I personally have not noticed the weight of the cane but the base did take a bit of getting used to, at first I would occasionally step on the tip at the rear corner. The only issue I have had with either cane is that the base of the black one is a couple of degrees off of square but this has not affected usability at all.I cannot attest to the 300# weight limit but there have been occasions when the canes have primarily supported my 205 pounds and kept me from falling when I have lost my balance.

Affordable
I bought 2 to be able to have one in our vehicle and one near our bathroom on the other side of the house so I wasn't always having to take the one out of our bedroom. My husband primarily uses a power wheelchair but he is able to do short distances walking with a cane. This allows us to have one close by where ever we are.
