This is surprisingly nice wine opener! I'm very pleased with this one. Functionality is everything and this one has a corkscrew, a foil cutter and a beer bottle opener! I kid you not. This has functionality! And the rosewood inlay. Absolutely stunning! Mechanically this is very strong and will be of use of a long time. The different utensils open and close smoothly and easily. You won't be fumbling around and will look like you know what you're doing with this even if you're not sure. This is elegant and classy and would also make a beautiful gift for your wine lover. Anyone will be ready to get rid of that old key for this opener. I purchased this at a discount for a unbiased review.

Makes getting into a bottle of wine a breeze. Seems to be a quality tool

I purchased this item for my wife as a stocking stuffer. The first time she opened it, the spring fixing the corkscrew immediately fell out, and now the corkscrew dangles uselessly from the handle. This has never happened to any of the cheaper corkscrews I've bought in the past. I'm returning this one to Amazon for a full refund.

I'm not new to using a waiters corkscrew. They are my preferred way of opening wine. However, this one broke two corks in half. The wood is nice, but the metal parts are rather rough cut, not polished, with sharper edges than i have seen on this type of corkscrew. I could overlook that, maybe, because of the low price, but when it broke a cork on the first and second bottles, I gave up struggling with it, and back it goes.

Perfect! Knife is sharp...a bit difficult to open in the beginning (particularly for a nail biter!), but it definitely eases up with continued use. Feels exceptionally quality and something you can be proud to pull out of your pocket every time. The different style of "double pull" takes a bit of getting used to, but is awesome once you do. Buy it...this is a STEAL at this price.

Great for the price, but shouldn't be used in a high volume restaurant.I work in a fine dining restaurant and wanted something that looked nice. The wine key works great but the springs wore after about 3 months of heavy use in the restaurant (3-5 bottles a day 5 days a week).That said, I own a second one for my house that i use a couple of times a week that has lasted me years.

it has been almost a year since I started using this opener and it has not failed me once. It is simple to operate, no effort needed to get the wine bottle open, no cork crumbs in the wine. I love wine and for years I have struggled with those inept corkscrews to a point to use the hammer and nail method. This corkscrew/bottle opener is perfect! I love it.
