Q: I'm going to order 77/46 (red) - can anyone advise which developer/how much is best? I have 9% at home and have used previously with another creme

Hi,Thanks for your email . If you are going to have lighter colour you can use 9% and if you want to get darker colour you can use 6% developer .

Q: What kind of developer (brand) do I need?

I use Wella Welloxon Perfect 6% 20 vol.

Q: How many boxes should I get my hair is a few inches past my shoulder?

One box per haircolouring should be enough. If you are not sure, get 2 boxes to start with. You will also need Wellloxon creme developer 6% volume or similar to mix with the colour.
